Chris , a small colloquial correction. We usually say “Main chalta hoon” or “Main nikalta hoon” instead of “Main ja raha hoon”. “Main jaa raha hoon” is in fact used when you are threatening to leave and expecting the other person to stop you. Used often while negotiating with shopkeepers, as in “I’m leaving” when they don’t give you a fair deal 😅

He wanted to take you to his village so that he could forcefully tie you up with his sister or something. You would end up your life in Nepal leaving all your travelling life. These things are common in North India , Nepal , etc . In the middle of the video , he talked about marriage and when you said you have a GF he immediately said okay bye. Then an idea clicked him to take you to his village so once again he carried the conversation. That was fishy as hell. Don't ever visit people's houses , villages , etc. You'll lose everything. P.S. - I'm from India too and I know these things .
