Welp, there isn't much to say about this matchup. One of these decks clearly counters the other, and while it definitely isn't impossible for Jiji/Rust to win if they burst and have the right pieces in hand, in playtesting it was almost always a massively uphill battle. It's not just that (1) BWGX and Hades Force can absolutely wreck a post-swarm Jiji field, demolishing both Digimon and Tamer swarm, but also (2) the looming threat of the BWGX's line removal, especially when rendered cheap by Grey X, impedes Jiji's initial setup which is heavily reliant on [On Evolve] effects. So Jiji's win rate over my days of playtesting wasn't exactly pretty...
@@rustmarrow you already had control what I noticed was instead of attacking first you could’ve hades wiped out all his tamers with it including the beta followed by either attacking sec or jijimon
From the looks of it, the Jijimon deck is more of a mishmash of all of the core Digimon in Digimon World and Re:Digitize, which is honestly pretty cool. I like that it's also still possible to make a more pure Tyrannomon deck for funzies, but I think in my Tyrannomon build I'm still going to be using Jijimon and looking into some of the other support. I just can't imagine leaving my big red dino man hanging.
Living up to the name, BWGX has taken out Jijimon and Taiga and now advances. Quarter Finals 2: The Parrel World Tactician, Mastemon W/Mirei vs The Forgotten Enemy, Galactimon. With only 2 Matches left for the Quarter Finals, we are rapidly approaching the end game. This is getting intense.
People around the world I hyped for the FIFA World Cup, this is my world cup, these matches have been hype. Really enjoy the way you explain different plays and how the opponent could counter etc
A good attempt from Jijimon, bad sadly this just wasn't his match-up. Next round we have Galacticmon vs Mastemon. Both very cool decks, but I think I'm rooting for Galacticmon on this one.
I was hoping for jijimon and taiga to take it but BWGX is a good counter. Still good match and when it comes out in English I want to make a jijimon and taiga deck
I definitely recommend it! The deck is loads more fun to pilot than BWGX. Due to luck elements, sometimes things won't quite go your way but that's all part of its charm
@@rustmarrow ok will do, also after seeing bt11 taiga support and your vids I made my own taiga tyrannomon deck and the gameplay you do is helping me make ideas for it
The odds were heavily stacked against them, but Jiji/Tyranno put up a great fight. There was a chance, but it simply wasn't meant to be. I knew going in that Tyranno had little chance of winning, but I still held out hope for my favorite Digimon. If only that Ken was a Taiga. Still a great showing on both decks' strengths and weaknesses. Even though they lost, I'm glad that we have an actually playable RustTyrannomon, so it's still a win for me.
@@AlexMartinez-gv7hy Oh don't get me wrong. I love old rust, if my profile pic is any indication. I'm just saying that old rust was a lot harder to make a deck around because of it's disappointing stat line, 11k DP on a battle focus lv 6 that cost 4 to evo was not good, especially with the level of support the deck had at the time. Now though, I could definitely slot in a couple of old rust next to the new one.
Hope later we can see some decks from bt12 and see them better like this, i really like how this battles turn out and you narring the combat is better, thanks.
let's goo i'm rooting for tyranno even tho it's hard for tyrannyo, love that combo with jijimon and torto, also mamemon should't gain any dp from taiga since it's black or did i miss something?
So based off the game state of the second to final turn rusttyranomon could not have killed because bwgx had greymon x under it which could have returned x-antibody to the bottom of the deck to prevent its deletion
Question. So now witch metalgreymon people think is better? BT8 or the new BT12? One helps with Tamers, gives piercing, and costs one less (it's evolving effect doesn't specify Greymon has to be the name), the other gives you more board control on the opponent.
Have you ever considered doing a loser's brackets so that there's more screentime for the other decks that didn't make the cut during the early parts of each set tourney?
Yup, I did something like that for EX-03 (the Dorbickmon battles)! But not sure if i'll have time for that in BT-11 since we're getting the next sets so soon
As usual, BlackWarGreymon X is very powerful, even its MetalGreymon X's inherited effect is considered deadly since every Security cards will go to Trash when trashed (no pun, seriously) with any kind of that effect btw, I'm looking forward to your Duel Masters match video again, there are more cards in Win Era has been released, and the current highlight is next DM22-BD1 which is focused on Draguner and Dragheart usage, especially cards like MaltNEXT has been reprinted full 4 copies into the deck Or you can make some good match using some of titular bosses archetype from the current set like Abyss Royale, Doran Gorghini, Drache der Zen, etc.
Along the way Taiga collected garbage data for jijimon he meet Yuuya and his Black Wargreymon X. Yuuya and BWG-X challenge Taiga and his partner for battle with no other choice Taiga to fight sad things he not strong enough to beat Yuuya and Black Wargreymon X. Disappointed with Taiga, Yuuya leave the place with Black Wargreymon X. With sharp eyes Yuuya said to Taiga : "Your pathetic partner don't even have change to beat my Black Wargreymon X because you to soft as a tamer. Next time we meet i want to see your truly seriously as a tamer or you will never meet your partner again."
Hades force should never have been printed. It's clearly a broken card, 7 cost which can be reduced to 5 very easily, deletes digimon AND tamers, AND lets your digimon attack afterwards. You could take away 2 out of the 4 abilities it has and it would probably still see play. All 4 is too broken for the game and needs a ban.

Dude you forgot to do the other effect of hades and you could’ve left his security at 1
@@Branflakes-ez2pn Do you mean letting a Greymon attack? It still needs to be able to suspend.
Yep as Codename said, your Grey must still be unsuspended. And I went for Jijimon instead of Sec to control the field
@@rustmarrow you already had control what I noticed was instead of attacking first you could’ve hades wiped out all his tamers with it including the beta followed by either attacking sec or jijimon

A predictable outcome but man, did Jijimon put on a show! I don't like how he looks, but that gameplay was so cool to watch!
really rooted for Jiji this match but that Hades Force made my heart sink. That card is so damn strong.
It's only as strong as the highest cost Greymon.
Might be pretty cracked if we ever get ShineGreymon Burst Mode.
People around the world I hyped for the FIFA World Cup, this is my world cup, these matches have been hype.

Honestly Hades force needs to be limited. BWGX is just too powerful on its own. Much BS
Hades force is too deadly, wiping out 3 tamers just like that
3 Tamers and the Lv3 especially. Otherwise, Mame would have survived and could have gone into a Lv6 play next turn
Tamer Hate is too strong
BWGX is the real heel this tourney, good god
So, when do we start talking about how absolutely OP all the BWG support is?
More and more, I feel like Bandai really overdid the x-antibody mechanic.
I think its less the the X Anti support and more the Greymon stuff
Sad. Jijimon is so much more interesting to me^^‘ also it‘s the file island‘s grandchad
Holy cow. It literally only took one Digimon (plus inheritables, of course) to defeat Jijimon

I still prefer the first rust since it can target unsuspended digimon and set up another digimon to runover a digimon.

Jijimon is incredibly cool, but BWG just has the odds in its favour against any Tamer focused deck.
NO, MY PRECIOUS GRANDPA DIGIMON! You will be missed 😭
What program do you use?
Tabletop Simulator
Dammit, BWarg's reign of terror continues. Honestly, even though I'm not fond of Mirei or Bagra, I'd even take them winning over BWarg.
Hmmmm rusty boy can win especially with red and black being there gives a bigger variety to use option cards. Interesting.
Blackwargreymons worst nightmare is darkknightmon.
Delete its tamer lose 2 memory.
Delete its digimons, and another one shows up, from floating.
