Wheel bearings don’t need to have play to be bad, sometimes they just make god awful noise lol Lowkey a maintenance thing I feel like a lot of people don’t think about often

I actually started drifting around 03 and had a ae86 I paid 1500 for. Now I drive my kids around in a tsx. Lookin for new project now that they aren't babies anymore.

Your right Bro it’s so much fun tracking a car that 200-300 hp because you’re pushing the car to its max performance with the pedal to the floor makes it so much more fun than breaking most of the time and a 500 600 hp car , but I’d much rather go straight in a fast car of course lol
A cold air intake and exhaust with headers will wake this car right up. Same thing on a Honda Prelude. I had 2 of them. Feels so much slower stock. 😭🤣

Tune is worth it on the NA engine. Can lower vtec and get a much better mid range not having to ring it out every moment
Yeah lowering the VTEC engagement helps for sure but homeboys gonna need a stand-alone ecu since his S2K isn’t a 06+ DBW. Shits expensive and it ain’t a straight plug & play, gonna need a few sensors.
Still recommend it tho, especially if he going FI at some point

The S2K and Miata have the same formula… not built to be powerful at all but built for you to utilize the power and momentum your going to know quickly when you hit the canyons why everyone buys a S2K and Miata . Also Kicks please be careful although the AP2 was revised from the ap1 it’s still a front mid engine car so if you dip into a corner the wrong way the S2K will snap and oversteer. Im excited for this build and look forward for this content bc I’m getting an AP1 later this year !
For future reference, another way to check if a wheel bearing is bad is to spin the wheel by hand and place your free hand on the spring or any thin metal and see if you feel any grinding
correct, I do this evertime I get a car with an abnormal tire noise complain

The only thing I’ve heard about the s2k when you start hitting the canyons and getting into those turns is to be careful of its snap oversteer. Cant wait to see how this turns out. The s2k is one of my dream cars but damn they are pricey.

EVS 70 SSP is a solid exhaust for the S2k. Pair it with with 70mm test pipe too.
Hoping you fall in love w this thing and we can see you rip some touges like angels crest, stunt rd, decker etc. most people in socal dont know how lucky we are to have cool mountain passes nor how fun it is.

Definitely try out the J’s Racing 70RR header back exhaust or the Revel Touring Medallion S Catback pair with a test pipe or HFC. You won’t be disappointed
i say supercharge it! You’ll get 400-500whp no problem and still have the N/A style powerband around corners and on straights!! But the stock trans starts to get weird around 500-600whp
