    What a beautiful little organ! There's a massive twangy tierce rank in the mix and I love it. It's so twangy it almost sounds like the Gabler in Weingarten.

    Very powerful. So refreshing to hear it without changing registration all the time. Less is more!

    Absolutely beautiful playing and, also, wonderful that we could see your footwork on the pedals, great to see you play barefoot!

      So, what is your fucking business if I love women feet?, I'm rather afraid that the only thing it stinks here is your language and manners!

      lamepiemujer What do you think what most woman will think of you when you say that you love strangers' woman feet? 99% will be disgusted by it. If you had any manners you would keep that fetish for yourself.

    I do love to play in socks, way more than with any type of shoes. Is it kind of "commonly accepted" or do other organists look at socks / bare feet colleagues with a disapproving eye ?

      +Yvan Azastrasz Did it occur to anybody that in Japan you take your shoes off before you enter a home, and especially a place of worship? ;)

      So you actually mean that playing in socks is absolutely no problem at all ? :)

    • @Engineer9736
      @Engineer9736 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yvan Azastrasz Most organists disapprove playing bare feet (or with socks). It looks tacky, and a lot of people believe the pipe organ is gods' instrument - which you have to show respect for i.e. put proper clothes on including black shoes. Not that i believe in god, but i do believe in dressing a bit gentle.

      Don't get aggressive. That doesn't make you look good at all. Richard is the name by the way.

      Rubbish - around 50% of professional organists play in socks - but very few amateurs who tend to be obsessed with organ shoes.

    Another sock player! People think me mad because I like the feel of the sharps on my feet. MInd you, it makes heel and toe almost impossible.

      I'm the same though my legs are so long that benches don't go high enough and I often can't use my organ shoes as a result.

    Sorry for my bad English. I need a rendition like this, without changing of stops all the time. Too many people think the changing of stops make the music, but it's not true. Changing of stops can only make different sounds. The music is what the composer do with the melody lines, chords, rests etc. But the score don't tell you to make a rest between the two sections. Suddently to go from many voices to only two was ment as a surprise I believe. The final chord in the Passacaglia has a minor third in soprano. Where else do you find examples like that? So far I haven't seen other examples. The reason is simple - it sounds bad.

    Nice playing but in my opinion a very cold interpretation: almost no phrasing, almost robotic, no stop variation AT ALL (plus a very ear-tiring registration). The piece is not easy but I think it is so beautiful to deserve more care on the sound palette aspect; but I suspect that some people don't like this piece and play it only because they have been forced to do so for some exam - in Italy, for example, this is one of the pieces commonly required for the Conservario' final diploma exam. Like many final students, this rendition has (almost) all the notes in the right places but seriously lacks any emotional involvement and, I dare to say, sounds like the player does not understand the material, just plyaing notes on notes.
    A pity since if she manages to play it in this way she is definitely capable of enriching it with some actual music. But maybe she does not care - will is power.

      How do you know when to phrase and know the range? I also think portamento is important in Bach.
