So 2 things. Even if silicone leaks, you can pour extra over it and it will be like 1 piece. 2 silicone if it's the good stuff, will remove bubbles itself. With that said, Nice job!

As others have already pointed out, when mold makers say to use LEGO bricks they are absolutely being specific about brand. LEGO tolerances can be tight enough that I've seen people make builds that hold water without needing to be sealed in any way. While assembling the blocks does take longer than just gluing something up to make a mold box, the reusability is a big draw for people who are concerned about getting the most out of their materials/scraps and don't want to make throwaway boxes.

Chain link fences were the 2nd piece of terrain I ever made (a rock was the first). I made my parents buy a specific bag of onions to get the right mesh. This is an excellent take on a classic!

Little bit of knowledge on silicone that has helped me a few times: Silicone sticks to silicone really well, to the point where you often can't tell it was cured separately. I've repaired moulds that have been used a few times by adding the scrapings of another batch of silicone. Sometimes it's so good you can't tell it's a repair, and sometimes it does eventually fail again, but I always get a few more casts from the mould.

Cool build! I like the idea of using cast plaster as concrete, darkening the outer layer, then chipping to expose the lighter under layers for a fresh damage look. I also have always wanted to cast the plaster with real metal wire embedded in it, and then brake away plaster fore an exposed rebar effect.

I can see I'm not the first to mention the building brick brand, but I've always used proper LEGO brand legos. But I'm also a Star Trek, Halo, and Masters of the Universe fan so I have grabbed some Mega Construx kits here and there and I have been appalled at the lack of quality control that I'm used to with actual LEGO. You can grab a fairly decently priced box of generic LEGO bricks that are perfect for mold walls.

You can actually use Quikrete quick-setting cement, you can get a 10 lb bucket for $10-$14 or get a 50 lb bag or pails for $20 or so. You can make it where it is pourable for what you did or make it thicker so it is sculptable and pressing it in creates those beautiful voids that look like damage.
It is a fun material to play with and can be used to make useful items around the home and shop.

Looks great! I think with the original fence design, making a larger corner piece or gate might work to deal with the loose end though your revised plan seems great to build the mesh/body.
I know from the Miniature Hobbyist videos, he'd use the legos and flat lego platform for the silicone rubber mold kit which is then later filled with sprue goo (melted sprues).

The shape of the fence posts (and using Lego for the mold box) made me think of those double angular beams you get in Lego technics stuff.
Probably not the right size for something like this, not to mention expensive and you'd have to fill in the holes. Unless you find some cheap knockoffs and use it to make pipe rail fences, I guess.
Or maybe something like cheap plastic coat hangers. Just a thought.

Look for rolls of 1X1 welded wire mesh on amazon. Cut it in rows at 2 1/2 inches so that you have two full square segments and a little half inch segment you can bend in a direction to attach with wire to be the barbed wire top. At 32 mm it looks like the tubing of a chain link fence. I superglue screen door screen to this frame to create the chainlink mesh.

As to why your blocks were leaking while others (myself included) haven't faced that problem, my guess would be the kind of brick you were using. Reminds me of the massive pile of fences of a similar type that I did a LONG while ago...the mesh would have made those so much easier, but I kind of went for something based on the Tyrannosaurus Paddock from Jurassic Park with them being tall and wire between them. The few that are still intact look good, but those things were a pain to make and the posts ended up being far to easy to break off the bases despite the entire thing being plastic and with the plastic glue used...cutting three layers of plasticard for each post, then using some model railroad layout pieces for highway barriers with some more layers of plasticard to widen them along with some other weight...
The wiring was also a pain, but might have been less of one due to drilling holes for them rather than grooves.
Then, when they were finished, the store I was going to be using them in told me that I couldn't use them because the wire was fine enough to be dangerous despite being cheap jewelery wire from a craft store...so they were on my shelf unused save as decoration for the dinosaur minis that I have

To make the mesh easier to handle you can use a torch or even your gas stove. Grab the mesh with a plier and heat it with the the tip of the flame until you see a blue hue on the wire. Let it cool down on roomteperature and you're good to go. Keep in mind that there's a good chance you won't be able to hit the mesh with the same amount of heat so harder more springy spots are to be expected. You can repeat the process as many times as you like. The better way to do this is to use a furnace or a campfire, the latter having the drawback that the surface will get covered in ash, but both will heat your mesh uniformly and give you a nice, soft, easy to handle material.
You can do the same trick with any wire to make them moremanageable.
