An animated Andor spin-off would be awesome. If that were to happen, dollars to donuts Bix would be the main character especially if rumor about her post Andor is to be believed.
When it comes to Andor, I hope they let Luthen Vel and others survive. Then they can continue with a series about them during the OT time period. I also would like to see a series about Saw and Jyn or Saw from where he lost his sister to whenbhe met up with Jyn and their time together
I'm hoping for a "Star Wars: Tales Of" series that will have different 3-4 episode focuses. - Tales of the Jedi - Tales of the Sith - Tales of the Bounty Hunters - Tales of the Rebellion The time periods and stories that could be told would be endless. It could be an amazing animated series!!
I'd love a show about how Sabine got with the ghost crew. We could see her time In the imperial academy and how she left. She's just such a cool character that lucasfilm could do so much much with, same as all the rebels characters
Utidiiiiiii!!¡ Zeb ❤🤩 ahhhh....the Razor Crest still breaks me 💔😢.... Not just all of Djarin's worldly goods and the tools of his trade but every last thing of sentimental value incl. what would appear to be just a piece of utilitarian cloth in his weapons cleaning kit....a remnant of red cloth.
I agree with all the characters that you mentioned that would be super awesome, especially Jen Urso, since she connects so much with rogue one and Andor those would be awesome shows and it would help us give some history. I hope they do that that would be so great. I also love the period between Andor and Rogue One
I’m still convinced Luthen may have been a republic intelligence officer. It would be cool to see a tales of the rebellion animation. But I’d really wanna see a band of brothers type of show focused on the dual POVs of a rebel soldier/commando and a stormtrooper.
Ummm... I don't think the republic had intelligence programs. The republic viewed itself as benevolent, magnanimous and uncorrupted-- look how caught off guard characters like padme were throughout prequels by any plot-- so much so that they couldn't fathom having intelligence programs. Because if they did, there's no way Palpatine could've usurped power. That would be like saying the cia had no clue who jfk was. All epic stories since the time of the Greeks who came up with the very concept contain hubris. Republic naïveté and hubris are central to Lucas's story. And I guess weren't the Jedi supposed to be intelligence officers in a way, able to detect through the force the slightest bit of malevolent conspiring? My point in responding though is really this: it's kinda better if Luthen is more of a nobody. I keep thinking back to him on that scaffolding, "an equation...." How about him being some sort of crazy mathematician who calculated like the rate of freedom suppression from the first imperial policies and when counter action would have to begin in order to defeat the empire?
@@johnsuplicki I’m pretty sure the republic had military intelligence. How else could they conduct military operations? You don’t go into war without knowing what your enemy is capable of. Palps is an evil bastard but he was nothing short of careful during the clone wars and likely had methods to circumvent being discovered. Look at how Fives found out and no one but Rex believed him.
The Dawn of Rebellion book says Luthen's home planet is Fondor, assuming this isn't a cover up like with Cassian and Fest. The only thing I can glean from that is Fondor was allied with the Separatists during the Clone Wars in Legends, and in canon it seems to be implied they did there too. So maybe Luthen's people have a history of rebellion, maybe the Empire clamped down on Fondor after the Clone Wars and Luthen's loved ones were caught in the crossfire. We might never get answers. He reminds of Palpatine but for the Rebels, and in canon Palpatine's backstory is shrouded in mystery so they might keep it that way for Luthen too. We'll see in season 2...
Luthren, Kleya, Bix...their back stories I want to see. But we need the same writing team. Great actors can be made to look ordinary or bafoons by bad writing and directing.
I'd love them to carry over some of the characters from Andor into a followup series that operates in parallel to the Original Trilogy - more focused on the Core Regions, Mon Mothma and the Rebel Leadership and spies you could even take it through to the Battle of Jakku. Yes, Luke, Leia and Han would be an issue, but it's a big galaxy and the Rebellion is fragmented into cells, you could find away to leave them out or maybe the occasional cameo like Luke in Book of Boba Fett
As I said before Let some of the Andor character survive, and continue their story in a series that takes place during the OT era. Luthen, Vel and some more, to show how the fight continues in the shadows of the movies
The Bad Batch alone proves we need an animated Andor spinoff, that series is pretty much animated Andor and that is one of the various reasons why it’s top 3 of my favorite Disney+ SW series so far. With that said, a Tales of the Rebellion series would be so awesome, but what I think should happen is that if an Omega spinoff series happens after TBB, have Luthen be a supporting character working with Omega and other clones within the rebellion. I really wanna see Luthen interact with some clones and it would be so freaking awesome to see the supporting Andor characters make appearances as Omega works with others within the rebellion. Still though, an animated Tales of The Rebellion series would be so freaking awesome, and I could see it being so dark, intense, gritty. SW animation would absolutely kill that, and it leaves so much more opportunity for experimental storytelling. 🖤
I’d like to believe that Luther was one of the survivors of the explorer corps of the JSC. His penchant for archeology fits with that possible back story. Having a character that wasn’t “good enough” to be knighted but chose to continue to learn and serve as a seeker would be interesting especially since he specifically said he had been planning what he was doing since the fall of the republic and the JSC was almost completely wiped out during the purge.
Meg, I don't know if 130k subscribers are enough to put you on Disney/lucas film's radar, but 🤞you are because tales of the rebellion is absolutely genius
For those of us who are not into the cartoons and books, several of your ideas do not fly. The strength of most of these characters comes from the actors that portray them so wonderfully. Slapping their voices on cartoons or the fact they appear in a book does nothing for fans such as me. Now I am not saying either group is superior to the other. Just different interests. I would rather see a live mini-series with Luthren or really dreaming Andor Season Three. Again a cartoon or book does not replace the power of these two great actors. Just my opinion and no disrespect to those that like the other media, just give me live action any day of the week.
Hi Meg awesome video, I would love to see more of Zeb and Mando is awesome he has a heart of gold when it comes to Grogu and he has become his father and will protect him always he is a gentle giant, mega excited about Andor 2 thank you SWM
Luthen & Klaya could be assumed identities…when Luthen mentioned that the people from his past “are all ghosts” could he have been referring to Jobal,Sola,Padme & Ryoo?…so I believe Luthen & Kleia are really Rawuee & Pooja Nabarrie.
Din and Zeb? Now that’s a team up I never gave much thought to but would love to see. I feel like their dynamic could be both hilarious and wholesome. But which books do we get Din’s thoughts? I’d love to read them if they’rr not just pictures. That passage about the razor crest being destroyed broke my heart. As did his implied feelings when he saw Grogu and Luke. I hope he gets another pre empire gun ship in s4. Something like the ghost that will fit his N1.
Thank you. Unfortunarely I’m blind so anything I read has to be in braille or audio. But I appreciate the offer. I always love insight into beloved characters’ heads. I’ll check my usual wesites and see if I can find it anywhere.
It’s easy to imagine them leaving that time. Period alone completely, and spend the next 10 years in the old Republic or after the last sequels… Must… not even a little bit… Start
They should have done a show where Boba Fett and Vader go on a mission together. And Boba disintegrates a Jedi survivor. Or at least a situation where Vader wanted to interrogate a prisoner but Boba disintegrates a guy. It would give the “No disintegrations” line from Empire some backstory. simple things like this is what I want. lol
Now that Filoni no longer has to operate around Kennedy's interference since the 5 Horsemen have cut her to nothing but a figurehead until her contract ends, so don't hold your breath for more Andor or ever actually seeing the Acolyte. And what goes forward will probably be very different than that boring crap from Season 1.
I think Tales of the Rebellion new animated andor series along new animated Cody series, It look like Tales of the jedi will end with two seasons, The Bad Batch can inspire to Cody series in taking place after third season as rise of rebellion era.
I don't want anything in the Andorverse line to be connected to animation. I do like some SW animation, but the overall SW experience is considerably better in live action.
Most of these answers will probably most likely be answered in comic books and books because this way it's quicker and easier and if they fall on their face then Disney ain't losing that much money. They want to do the movies because they can make a quick Buck off the movies and a lot of money off these movies. This is why I think anything they deemed not that big will go to the books and comic books.
Yo Meg, Thanks for being nutral. Andor 2, hopefully, will be more action-packed ADULT STARWARS us oldskool fans have been needing. Let's face it. STARWARS has always been for kids. Andor is the STARWARS for adults. Not mention how Gilroy was able to make 2 Tie Fighters more intense & mennising than a dozen squadron. If Lucas Film wants the $$$ & a fan base...... R rated STARWARS. The creative doors will open! Besides, kids would rather see something that's not allowed.
Why not do a Sabe show in live action? Kiera Knightley could easily pass as being the right age for a dark times setting. I think there is probably enough material for a series about Mon Mothma, but it would need to be for a more mature audience because it would be more of a political thriller.
They should create a sequel show to Andor taking place during the original trilogy A new hope to Return of the Jedi following some character like bix or whoever survives season 2
I'd still love a Death Star sitcom, like just 4 nobodies contracted to work there(or slaves) and eventually one of the roomates decides to transfer out but finds they can't only for the roomates to start trying various Shenanigans to try getting out of their posting only to be there throughout the events leading to its destruction in the first movie... In other words Season 1 ends with a bang you just never know who where why when or if they survive.
I love Andor so much I’ve watched it five times and I could watch it again right now, so good. What if season two actually, was an improvement, maybe they can pull off the show you’re thinking of with care, passion and respect, maybe.
Mon Mothma may be an anti-imperial "rebel", but she isn't just a rebel, she definitely isn't a revolutionary. If you can't see that she is going to be every bit the villain of andor season 2 as the empire itself you are blind. I'd bet there is some dialogue in andor season 2 in which she refuses to describe herself as a rebel, but rather a conservator, a CONSERVATIVE of the republic-- the very thing that brings about empire... both in Star Wars and the real world lol!
have you heard any rumours about Kathleen Kennedy pressuring Lucas films to create a series centered on the mandalorian space chickens which featured in mandalorian season 3 episode 4?
Well, Kennedy killed off the 3 iconic actors WHO ARE STAR WARS...that's f'kn the fans. She's also said, "Every generation needs its own Star Wars. " So, SHE'S decided this new trope, a woke vision is in, but, which what I thought the SWO's were all about. A woman heroine, strong, independent, a Warrior & intelligent, a boy hero who becomes a Jedi ,but not a Warrior (that the Clone Wars turned all Jedi into) & a crook who shot first, became woke and did the right thing. Han did shoot first. Too bad his aim didn't criss " a galaxy far, far, away "...
Yeah g'day, It was a given that the Razorcrest was as important to Dyn as Slave One was to Boba. Tales of the Rebellion would be good but I canna see Kommandant Krell giving the nod to an animated series because they won't be able to control it. It's a goodnight from you and it's a goodnight from the broken, cantankerous, belligerent, obnoxious, obstinate, obstreperous, cynical Old Fart.
"It won't be easy... but we can't back down just because we're afraid." 💜
I can't wait.
An animated Andor spin-off would be awesome. If that were to happen, dollars to donuts Bix would be the main character especially if rumor about her post Andor is to be believed.
The universe awaits those who dare greatly.💜

I’m going to miss Andor when it finishes. I wish they gave us at least three seasons but I understand why there is only 2
No one would remember Andor because that show wasn’t compelling to begin with. You’re deluding yourself from it, watch a better show.
@@mazkeraid4039 um ok. I rather watch it than Jake Kenobi, Bo Katan S1, or Softy Fett.

Please no more Animated stuff, give us more of fantastic actors like Stellan Skarsgård.
Star Wars hasn't been worth watching since 1983.
Me not crying over a spaceship
Yeah, let Disney ruin the Andor characters with another SW animated kids show. Yes please.
I do too, to find out that Tony Gilroy may be a good writer, but not a good writer for Star Wars.
Meh, zero interest in anything animated anymore. Just stick to live action and don't f*ck it up.
2025 - don't even care about this show by then- 3 years between seasons no thanks
