Once again, Awesome job… You should try to do full videos so people can learn.. That is what my TH-cam channel will be about… Maybe once I get started we can do do a video with each other on TH-cam and talk about some of the basics, especially prong setting for those who are interested…. Take care keep up the good work, Autumn Michelle
sorry not well videoed .You did not show the making of the seat or setting the main stone . Too fast is not good for eyes or anything .Jeweler 45 years .
If you are a true jeweler you should know that the seats are made during the fabrication of the mounting. Too many jewelers leave it to the setter because they are incapable of seating a stone properly by sawing/filing. Of course sometimes the seats can be slightly adjusted during the setting process but it wasn’t necessary on this job. I am not a fan of leaving the seat making to a setter if I happen to give my work to a setter because a lot of the time they will grind the seat all the way to the bottom and ruin the shapes of your ajours and leave bur edges everywhere, that is not professional work. The center was set the same way the side stones were. If you are interested in how I make a seat for a stone I have a 19:45 long video on my channel explaining how to do so if you haven’t seen it already and if you would like to see a center stone being set I will be making a segment on that in the 3 stone series.
Beautiful work process 👍
I am support your Chanel ❤️

Have you ever had a mishap with the early stage claws when you were setting a central diamond.
What exactly do you mean?
@Vik : Diamonds have cleavage - I am wondering if an accident has ever occurred when you set the extra long claws - before the trim...
Realmente aprecio tus habilidades y destrezas.
Thank you!
