In the UK they know exactly how to relay the roads, looks just like this does....... Then 3 weeks later on the Gas board digs it up to fix the pipes, fills it in with inferior mix... Then 3 weeks later on the Electricity board comes along and digs up another part of the road, to fix something or other and fills it in with an even worse mix... Then 2 and a half hours later on the water board comes along and digs up another part a few feet down stream and fills it in with a worse mix than it was in the beginning... Then the council tax gets put up the following year, in the mean while, at the funny hand shake club, all the funny hand shake upper rank bell ends are rubbing there hands together saying, better buy more shares in that company that gets all the ground contracts work from the council, because the head shed of the contracts division is himself a member of the same funny hand shake mob!!!! getting the picture now folks.... They go under the title of "Comptrollers" they have access to all the council tax funds, and can make money vanish from books, "POOOF" just like that... Then a few weeks later on the Police have a hard on for any motorist who are in the wrong colour car, (They play car snooker") Blue ball, fix penalty £50.00 fine, for no seat belt, or on the mobile phone, or undue care and attention, bla bla bla, yet they can never catch a bank robber, or a "Terrorist" in action, because they sit and observe the next poor unsuspecting victim, and the revenue starts to pile back into the money pit that no one is allowed to know about....So, the roads do not stay looking good for to long, and as is i think world wide, all the Government "Selected" types, because, do not think for one moment that we elect any of them, and there shares value just keeps on going up because in another part of the country, some where there is a road that needs to be repaired, and the cycle continues..... wake up people, at the top no one in the council, or government is poor, because they are in the right club shall we say and every one knows some one for a special favour of some kind........... The End.
tom keir , i worked with thames water for many yrs ... and u r so correct .. we would backfill and resurface the road , then the leb would dig it up again .... etc etc ... well done for ur uhderstanding ... no logic as to what goes on
