LMFAOOO omg i still vivdly remember window-shopping for PCI or AGP graphics card since my mobo couldnt support PCI-E, and back then my PC specs were so prodigiously bad that the "grass" was simply a crude blob of green. I'll never forget the day my dad took me to Microcenter to buy my first graphics card, the EVGA Geforce 6200 PCI. I got home installed the card booted up Halo Trial, and... I could ACTUALLY see the grass instead of a murky blob. I will never forget that magical moment. Now, I'm writing this on an RTX 3060, decades of exponential progress above the 6200. And yet, no graphics card will ever give me the excitement that the 6200 did. In fact writing this comment made me want to buy the 6200 and keep it as a nostalgic keepsake in my room.
man this takes me back to computer class, my friend would bring this on a flashdrive and we'd put it on all the computers and LAN that shit up lol good times!
Just installed Halo CE, found it in a drawer. Had a laugh 20years ago online. So servers are dead so how do I start playing online like I did? Need a little more explanation please. Thanks

Halo CE is the best out all Halo games
Ain't seen this game in a while. I remember playing the story for the first time. The Warthog was cool and I was impressed by the grass textures.

Custom Edition still has dedicated servers up, but I find it’s mostly South American players and their ping is bonkers high.

@@PyrobruceThey’re dead because Xbox Live for OG Xbox shut down in 2010, But luckily a service called Insignia can fix that.
