Here is a rundown of my time competing in the High Desert Brutality match in 2023.
Overall the match was awesome. Probably the best stage design of any of the stateside Brutality Matches. The incorporation of pop culture is always fun. Not to mention being able to shoot out further than 50 or 100 yards with a rifle. Overall a good time with some good people.

On the kasarda drill a couple guys threw up and were pretty close to heat stroke so they decided to not make it mandatory.

The dressing up aspect is the best part. I shot this match in German paratrooper kit and it was cool to see how well all the pieces of kit worked together, however the Luger was not the move for this match.

Going to the Drive-In was a very good call. I remember the first movie I ever saw was at a drive in out on L.I. I was like 4 and my pop took us to see Gremlin’s. #corememory

There were multiple people that dropped out of the Kasarda stage for medical problems. Disappointed me too, my best stage for both times through. Included my buddy vomiting halfway through his Kasarda drill in my video, to give a sense of why they dropped that stage.
