Searching for the Best Jamaican Jerk Stand in Grand Cayman. I visited two locally owned Jerk stands, Sam's Quality Jerk & More, and Red Bay Jerk Stand. Both are amazing places to eat, and a must visit on Grand Cayman. If you're close to Georgetown, Sam's will be your best bet. If you have a car, take a drive out to Red Bay Jerk and visit Andre. Both Jerk stands have a unique recipe for cooking their food, and special sauce. The hot sauce at Red Bay Jerk is ridiculously delicious.

Tashee, do you know how to cook jerk? Am asking, because I'm here in the states(Houston) & trying to get my marinade right. I've been to the islands plenty of times & have many of Jamaican brethren here, but their jerk doesn't have that island touch. I order the pimento wood online, I've mastered the meat smoking portion, but the taste is not spot on. Once your palate has tasted the truth, everything else seems incomplete. I've been looking far & wide for the right* marinade & topping sauce.
Oh my !! I can smell it from here back home n Galway , Ireland !! I spent 4yrs working in Cayman !! I miss it every day !

Cayman islands is like the second Jamaica cause it's close by and alot of jamaicans in that island.they use to do big trades when it came to goods jamaica sent many goods

The food looked great. I went to Grand Cayman on a solo trip last month; but I still feel that there was so much more that I didn't get to experience; so I'm going back in March of 2019, this time with family tagging along; so it should be fun.
Definitely need to return when this whole corona is over. There's a lot of water activities and restaurants to dine too in Cayman which are all great. Stay safe out there!

Some clarification. It is not called Grand Cayman Island, it is only Grand Cayman. We only use Island when we are referring.to the country (Cayman Islands).

Italian restaurant in Grand Cayman
I went to Cayman islands on a cruise n I went on a tour and they said we were getting the "best jerk chicken on the island" nd that shit was no jerk it was dry as hell and it looked like chicken with sauce on it smh n ik good jerk chicken my dad was born and raised in the Caribbean n he makes good ass jerk n that shit was not it period. Idk what restaurant it was but it smelled good n they had the big outside grills like this one but it not good
When they open the borders up again the jerk stands will be there! Hope you can go back and try them!
