One main point to remember is when Amrit is being prepared, a Faledi Khanda must be used, which is normally 3 feet in length and razor sharp, not the dull 9 inch Khanda used in this demonstration.
Guru Gobind SinghJi during the Khalsa ceremony used a sharp 3 foot Khanda that was made from steel that was so strong that it could cut through steel when used in battle. That specific sword takes months to forge, however we as Sikhs have forgotten our tradition and settled with dull Khande. How can we expect to be baptized with dull Khande , when our Guruji clearly stated, "Khande Di Dar" Amrit besaoo.

Also to be fit, being able to do basic body weight movements such as push up,pull up , squat, sit up ,lunge etc, and some form of self defense or martial art training for a month at least... if you wanna go beyond that then handling and safety and reloading of firearms for pure love and sikhi khalsa self defense purposes

    • @pavanSingh-ts5ym

Farah Saman: Sikhs believe in one universal God that resides in every living being. Typically we say Waheguru, which is testament to how wonderful (WOW!) and powerful God is. Gurus taught us to respect all names associated with God, Lord, Yahweh, Allah, Parmeshar, Khuda, Christ, Bhagawan, Isvara, and Waheguru. One must focus attention in creating a relationship with God and living in accordance with God's will, rather than emphasizing on artificial realities that will be of no use. Live truthfully and speak the truth.

@@YOYO-dl6fe initially a full length 3 ft khanda sword was used to prepare amrit. As maharaj in bani gives virtues of khanda in anand sahib “khaneyo tikhi vaalo niki et marig jana” , metaphorically it is told that path of bhagti is smaller than a hair and sharper than a khanda
So, the 3 ft actuall khanda was meant to be used. When the times of British raj, gore people changed a lot as their motive was to keep sikhs away from weaponary. They minimised 3 ft sri sahib to 12 inch ones in gatra and because of them, the khanda once was part of Nihang dumalas are now used to grind and dissolve patasshe. Hope you like the history and actual facts
