Great review, I'm still on the fence with this one, i have all the brain age games on the DS however the switch version looks like its recycled most of the brain games to the latest switch version.. definitely worth the pick up if you've never played Brain Age for Nintendo, however not sure it justifies a purchase if you've played the others
Mèl T yeah it takes a little while to unlock everything! I really enjoy the spot the highest number while making your stick man at the top of the screen jump! The game unlocks something new for every 2 days that you play it basically though! What’s been the favorite game so far for you?
Can you please clarify, you state there is a Tetris clone yet I've not seen anything of this in any trailers and you don't even show it in your review. Are you mistakenly thinking that the germ busting game is a Tetris clone or is there actually a Tetris clone in there too? They germ busting game is a colour matching game and Tetris is not. I like your review and your decision to provide two scores is a great idea, I had been wondering how much Lite owners would be missing out. Thank you.
Yeah I think looking back, tetris was a bad reference for Germs. Maybe Dr Mario May have made more sense! Thank you for checking out the video and yeah 2 scores here seemed necessary! Hope your enjoying this if you picked it up!
@@SwitchCorner Yeah, Dr Mario was what sprung to mind for me... as its a Nintendo published exclusive, surprised they just didn't go full on Dr Mario and have it as a bonus selling point in advertising.
Yep... I'm surprised this was released now so close to Xmas 2019 given that the lite would have sold like hotcakes to lots of new switch owners... they made a big deal about how the lite worked with 99% of switch games just fine back in September then relaunched a once blockbusting, kid friendly 'edutainment' franchise that is pretty compromised on the lite... I did pick it up, am liking it (with a stylus - found finger tip writing recognition too hit and miss) but it's simply less fun and varied on my lite, which is annoying as that's the one I always have with me when the in game training reminder goes off :-).
Cold Man YT hey cold man! Trick here is to either use amazon.co.uk and buy one of the eshop gift cards or alternatively I use seagm.com! Go there and you can buy international cards for the value. UK prices btw include tax so a 30 pound card for this will do!
It’s not really a game as such, yeah there’s some things to do but the concept is really to pick it up for 10 - 15 minutes a day, the game will even say and urge you to stop for the day after the 10 or so minute mark!

Yeah we definitely see a lot of recycling here. The main new content comes in the IR modes! I loved the DS games!
