Sarina Koga (古賀 紗理那, Koga Sarina, born May 21, 1996) is a Japanese volleyball player who won the bronze medal at the 2013 U23 World Championship with the Japan's U23 national team.
Career
Koga played with the Kumamoto Shin-ai Girls' High School team, winning the 2011 All-Japan Junior High School championship and receiving the Excellent Player award. Koga played for the senior national team for the first time at the Alassio Cup in May 2013. She won the gold medal at the 2012 Asian Youth Girls Championship claimed by her National Junior team and she also won the Most Valuable Player award and Best Scorer of the tournament.
In October 2013, Koga competed in the 2013 FIVB Women's U23 Volleyball World Championship and won the bronze medal. Koga was named one of the best outside hitters.
On 23 Jan 2015 NEC Red Rockets announced her joining the team.

2017 Japan V.Premier League - Best6 and MVP (Most Valuable Player)

The best outside attacker in the world! How come Japanese team didn't win against China in the world cup but losing at such a Big Big Big margin when she and ishii, ishikawa were playing? They were supposed to be invincible in the match weren't they?!
Ahm because all teams also lost to China in that tournament. Only Brazil managed a 2 set win against China. Even USA lost 3-0 to China in world cup. The best outside attacker in the world title is a poetic license title. They feature the best attackers. Every attacker is the best one in their own right.
@@mirieshii1948 but did you see the shots she made in the video? And did you see the highlights between Japan vs China in the world cup? Vast majority of the points are won by Japanese team! So that means FIVB is trying to deceive the audience that they wanted Japan win but in fact China won the match?!
@@nigelstevens348 it's called highlights. the best portion of the games were highlighted. either the best digs or serves, that may not necessarily scored the team. Japan has many noteworthy digs but wasn't converted into points, but the dig is notable... for example.. stop being bitter
