You're welcome. Easier and not as expensive as people think. Just requires a bit of knowledge and patience.

Howzit, super glad to have found your channel. Nice to see local content for aquascaping, etc. and not just EU / UK and US stuff. :D

Really good selection of tanks and fish . Your plants look very healthy. I really the the 29 gallon tank setup those rosy tetras stand out in this tank . Beautiful fish .

hi there. I just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Aleks and a total novice fish keeper. I wanted to say thank you for your videos, when I found your channel I immediately subscribed and went back and watched all the old ones. they are so incredibly helpful. getting into this hobby with no fishy friends can be rather overwhelming. my very first aquarium is currently cycling, so no fish yet, but hopefully soon. I did send you a Facebook message with a few questions about my set up, because I didn't see an email address linked. I do hope to hear from you, but otherwise please keep making videos so all the noobs like me can keep learning 😀

You're welcome, thanks so much for watching. I am not great on Facebook messenger, I'll get back to you quicker if you just ask in the comments below the vids.

Cheers from my fish room in Chicago! instead of more Colombian tetras I'd do something different. Maybe a group of dwarf Neon Rainbowfish!

Hi there. That may be a good idea. Same colour scheme with the blue and red. Might have to put a bit of alkaline buffer in though. Very soft water, my experience is that Rainbows need a bit of minerals. Love your tanks by the way, I check out your channel every so often.

Thank you for the support! As for Rainbows I think that this species tank bred enough to allow for lower PH, etc. they're very hardy.@@droeksonfishkeeping

I also have a short-bodied cherry barb that looks like a ryukin goldfish but a cherry barb.

That's interesting. I have an Emperor Tetra that hatched out and survived that grew into a shorter bodied version of his parents.

@@droeksonfishkeeping yeah, I'm seeing more and more "short-body" fish being intentionally bred. Flowerhorns, Koi, Mollies, Gouramis, etc.
