We attempted to fake the internet with our own UFO clip that we posted on Reddit. This has been in the making for over a year. Matt, Jallen, Wren, and Jake sitdown and tell all!

I had a look at the subreddit out of curiosity after seeing the video and saw how mad they were. One of the comments saying "stuff like this is the reason people are skeptics". Well... yeah, doesn't that make you think?

Creating a fake ufo footage doesn’t debunk all UFO’s. Just like creating a fake crime doesn’t mean crimes don’t happen.
Nice lesson in cyber security too...your files tell a story. Recently Google's image editor was found to save the original image that you edited and not just the edit result. You cropped something out, it shows up in the metadata for people who know what to look for. That's BAAAAAAD.

This was a very fun video for me because I love hearing about different production/post-production workflows that people have developed! Your tip about the compression layers is so cool and I can’t wait to try that for futur compositing on bad videos!

This is kind of off topic but have you guys every looked into how Jpeg compression works? Everyone shits on jpegs because of the lossy compression, but my god the way it works is a form of art imo. Some really impressive mathematics are behind it and it doesn't even seem possible at first.
People give Jpeg flak because it gets misused frequently. You usually shouldn't use it for art or anything with straight lines, but stuff like natural environments are what it is best at. Data compression is a fantastic thing. I can have a two minute video file which uncompressed is at least 2gb, and using MP4 I can make it less than 50mb without a significant loss in quality.

@@kanyeeastlolz What's significant about Grusch is his credentials. He is so well regarded that litterally no one questions whether he is lying or not. He clearly believes what he's said is true. Like really go look up his background. He was part of the team that put together the president's daily brief. Congress assigned him to the UAP Task Force. If anyone not on the inside of these programs were to find out about them, it would have been him.

Did you know he has also spent 11 hours giving congress testomony, including document and image proof, of his claims in closed door hearings? That's why everything seems to be moving so fast in congress right now.
I couldn't find any articles about him being involved in the President's Daily Brief but I know for a fact I have heard reporters make that claim multiple times.

He spoke on technology acquired from the Roswell crash. I can’t remember then name. The only reason we’re hearing about any of this is because of the nascent station news nation. They’re promulgating this topic to garner viewership. As such they’ll report in a way to make it more appealing.

@@brianrosenthal82 I know you will probably deny it, but you are factually wrong about all UFO videos being fake. The US Government litterally came out in 2020 and said "UFOs are real, we don't know what they are, they have better technology from us and we don't think other nations have such a technology". They didn't claim it was Aliens, but they straight up said UFOs are real and released 3 UFO videos that are legitimate. The skeptical position right now is "wait and see whats true and whats not". The "true bleiver" perspective is both "aliens are visiting us" and "UFOs are not real".
It's weird that a group full of fake UFO videos would be mad someone shares a fake UFO video

Why stop here? Get as many friends as you can to take footage of a certain spot in the sky from multiple locations large distances apart at the same time with different camera qualities and edit a cohesive event across them all 😎the more elaborate, the more legendary.
There was a video on that subreddit recently of one taken from 4 angles in Israel that appeared very real. I’m sure it was a fake tho unfortunately lol

fr i like them but this topic has been beat to the ground and made fun of for decades already. The worst part i think is the fact that they are choosing NOW to make fun of it when in the 26th of this month people will testify in congress with the bipartisan approval of senior congressmen like chuck schumer, marko rubio etc. in an open hearing with the most credible whistleblower in history to date in this topic david grush + others still currently in whistleblower protection hiding
@@dannybrickwell Wrong ballpark sir. I do physics and its my life. I have a small passing interest on trying to get actual data on active anomalies, which of course as you can imagine is a headach. It started after the US Navy started releasing information which naturally got my attention. However I have been unable to really take it very seriously between the crazies and the hoaxes which is a shame as there is either a national level hoax at hand from military / government bodies or actual very interesting physics to be unpacked..
So seeing Corridor go down the prank / hoax route is one thing thats not a great look in itself. The channels image has always been much much higher than that of a prank or hoax channel. However to see them add to the noise between science and the data is really where it looks bad. I feel like Wren would get where im coming from at least a little if not fully as I know he loves his physics and understanding too.
I still love Corridor but I hope this age passes.
Honestly I believe some of these uap’s might not be ours, but so many unfounded conspiracies and nonsense people in that community take at face value with no investigation. They need to be shown how idiotic that is, and if tricking them and showing them how easy it can be done. Might be a good thing.
