"This was a triumph. I'm making a note here... 'HUGE SUCCESS'. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction...."Well done Mr B!
I was looking on eBay while watching this and agree 100% with your summary! :D
Enjoyed it so much I watched it a second time.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it .. twice
What a great build! I didnt know that the gba was so easy to assemble. And i didnt know that the motherboard was so pricy. At that price you can buy some on local sites in my country, with ease. But a great video nonetheless
Cheers matey
Would you choose the average used housing over the one you bought?
I think I might, whilst the housing is fine it definitely doesn't fit quite as well as (I imagine) the Nintendo one would.
I did a similar thiing by building a Gameboy Pocket from eBay parts. Same as this here, not cost effective. Great video
Thanks Margh, yeah it's not a good way to get one in terms of money, but it is a fun exercise.
GBA's are worth that much now?? I have like 4 just sitting in a closet.
Maybe treat them as an investment before the retro bubble bursts :D
An interesting build, and from there you can then mod it
Oh absolutely, it's a living breathing GBA. The screen is definitely the first thing to do.
Great job JB, do they cost as much as an authentic one…….meh, is it as much fun just buying one NOOOOO!
Very true
Excellent
You should try installing a backlit LCD mod on it some time.
Yep, that's definitely the plan eventually :)
Great job 👍
Thank you

Could you do a video like this for the gb color
We did look into that but it was quite expensive to get working GB Color PCBs
@@ReEnthused that's understandable
