- This is the final shot for Little Mac. He wants to go out and take his place in history as the greatest fighter the WVBA has ever seen. In this mode, you go through an endless gauntlet of opponents until you lose 3 fights. I went through 30 rounds while recording, so i'm only showing the 3 losses. Since two of these fights you've seen, I'll only go over one of them.
Donkey Kong is the guest fighter in this game, but he is no slouch. Quick, unpredictable, and ridiculously strong, he can put Mr. Sandman down in no time. Much like Don Flamenco, DK taunts you before he attacks. But his style is wild, and the longer the fight goes on, the more strings of attacks he'll throw before you can hit him. To this day, DK is the only fighter in the game that I cannot defeat. - เกม

If you win a fight, you move onto the next one until you lose 3 fights. It's kind of a nod to the original Punch Out game, in which if you lose 3 times, Little Mac retires no matter how far into the game you got.
As for losing 3 fights here, once you do, he retires. You can continue playing the game under the same file, just only Exhibition and Two Player VS mode. Career Mode will no longer be playable
But you can still see the defeated opponents stances in career
Luckily you can refight the opponents in exebeation mode as much as you want which is good

Uh, you do realize you're SUPPOSED to lose during Mac's Last Stand, right? This is how Little Mac retires. Once he loses 3 fights, he's done. I filtered out all the fights that I won and just put the ones I lost, to make the video shorter.

Here's a trick for Title Defense soda pop: make the last punch of every stun a hook, then hit him with a delayed jab.

Did You Know?: Peach was originally supposed to be both the guest and unlockable playable fighter for this game. Nintendo scrapped the idea because it influenced women abuse. Instead, they got Donkey Kong for their guest, but he's not playable.

Im not trying to be a smart ass as Ive never played this game ( played every other though, including arcade, was world champion in 80s ) but were you just recording losses?
I kept the program recording throughout Last Stand mode, and only posted the losses as this mode is endless until you lose 3 times

+kirito Vance If only because some of his attacks come with very little warning, so I don't dodge properly. Honestly though I'm glad I lost to Soda and not Bald Bull, as that would have likely resulted in a broken controller.

It depends on the player. Some people have different opinions because of how their thought process works. For me, the hardest fight was King Hippo. Of course, I mean the second hardest. The hardest one is still Donkey Kong.
I personally think that soda pop is the hardest character in title defense. Fight me.

+Mega Manectric Nope. There is no other ending than what you see here. You literally fight until you lose 3 fights. Even if this means you go 50 fights without losing, you will continue to fight until you lose 3 matches. What I've shown here are my 3 losses in the order that they came. DK appears at random, and the only way to unlock him is to continue fighting until you face DK. You don't even have to defeat him to unlock him

Last Stand mode is accessed after clearing Title Defense mode. Here, you go through a gauntlet of opponents, one after the other, until you lose 3 times. There is no other ending aside from what you see. Yes, the easiest way is to just purposely lose 3 fights, but where's the fun in that? I kept going until I actually lost 3 times, and just put them in the order that I fought. I cropped out my victories, as it added up to well over 40 minutes

Yes. In Mac's Last Stand, you fight an endless amount of opponents until you lose 3 times. My recording session went on for about 50 minutes or so. I only showed the fights where I lost, to cut down on the run time. It's also the only mode where you can encounter DK.

you fight random Title Defense opponents until you lose 3 times. Think of Survival Mode in other fighting games. Keep fighting until you lose

No. You don't. There is no Champion's Mode. These clips were taken after 30+ fights altogether. Only 3 losses. Over 27 wins. No champions mode.

No it's not. Mac's Last Stand is basically like a Survival Mode in other fighting games, you keep going until you lose. In this case, until you lose 3 times.

Sadly to this day I've not been able to defeat Donkey Kong. Nothing really happens if you beat him, it's just another win on your record. Simply put, the only real reward for defeating him is bragging rights

I know that even if you beat DK, Last Stand still continues. Like I said, it kept going for a good while, I just showed the 3 fights that I lost on, that's all. DK was the last opponent who bested me.
