Another tip: When you want to change the valve, make sure engine bay is warm. This would allow the plastic hose to come off easier and possibly not break. Great video !!
Thank you so much for your comment. I will work on more fluids. The transmission mount you can see in my transmission service video where I had to take off the mount to change the filters. Are you having any issues with it?
Great video Jose! I think a Vapor Canister, and possibly a valve replacement video might make for some good video content.. Also your opinion of if replacing the valve 'While you are in there' makes sense. Thanks for the informative content.
Thank you so much for your comment. On the m157 it will definitely work. You would have to doble check with your vin number on the cls and see if the pump is the same part number. You can check with FCPeuro
Jose, great video. I have 14 GL M278 and dont have any code, but I feel there's a slight lag when hitt the floor. I have a couple of questions, how's the part holding up ? Have you notice any performance imrpovment in throttle response. Thanks Jamal
Thank you so much for your comment. My car didn’t really have any issues before I replaced the part, but I also think I replaced it on time. Many people feel the improvements after replacing them. How many miles do you have. Have you replaced your position sensors and solenoids? How about pigtails on those sensors?
I have 136K miles , and I did replace the cam position sensors and solenoids. Not pig tails. when I start the car, both turbo actuatorrod pulls back and stays there. I believe Wastegate close. position. I'm not sure what happens when giving gas, open position I think. Thanks
@@andrehafrian408 you may not be getting enough pressure to the turbos because of this valve and you can try it first. It’s very easy to do and very inexpensive. After that you may have issues with the waist gates or the valves on the turbos. It could also be as simple as a loose or cracked vacuum hose, a dirty filter. Also check the sensors by the filters.
Thanks Jose I’m at 60K I’m gonna replace mine asap 👍🏻 So I have a question on my 2015 s550. At outside temperature of 80° F and above my car idles with a shake like a misfire (but not sure if it is a misfire) but at temp below 80 degrees outside it idles as smooth as butter, even when car reaches full operating temp. There is no check engine light or stored codes. I’ve taken it to the dealer but they said without any CEL codes they can’t figure out what it is. Otherwise I’m stumped and it’s pretty annoying. I’ve changed spark plugs, ign coils all maintenance is up to date. I’ve also done a smoke vacuum leak test with no leaks. I’d greatly appreciate your input. Thank you in advance.
Thank you so much for your comment Rick. This may be too obvious, but I hope you have changed your air filters. After that I would check the MAP sensors on both your filter boxes. They measure atmospheric pressure and and temperature goes up the air is less dense. So your sensors may not be sending the correct information. After that, I would check the throttle. I think you are not getting the correct air fuel mixture when the air is less dense.
@@josecitomarin Thank you for your knowledge Jose. The air filters have been changed. I will look into checking the Map sensors on the air box. My suspicion has always been the air intake temp sensor but it is located deep in the intercooler/manifold that it’s impossible to get to unless I remove everything within the “V” of the engine and then I’m stuck with the possible, well that didn’t fix it, lol. What can I look at at the throttle as you mentioned?
@@rickscars7395 make sure is clean of debris and moving freely. It also takes a lot of undoing so while you are there, you can go a little further and also check on the ATS.
Thanks for sharing this info! This job is next on the list and I will report back when it’s complete
Awesome yeah let me know how you do.

Thank you so much for the tip Waleed
Love your videos! Thank you for all the content. Are you going to do a video on the transfer case and differentials? Transmission mount?

Very informative video, thank you 🙏 how long did it take for the part to ship to you if you don’t mind me asking.
Thank you so much for your comment. It took almost 3 weeks to arrive. But the same company put it on Amazon now and it ships the next day.
As always good job Jose !
