- Therapeutic activities for an annoying, busy day at work. I went to Two Seas Cyclery to cut down my Nitto handlebar. Later, a group ride.

Nice video thanks!
Glad you liked it! ⚙️✨
Haha, love the edits! It's cold, but still better than staying in!
Right! The feeling is so worth it! Thank you 😊
Narrow bars not wide makes Sarah’s ride not dull 🙂
🥹 thank you! They’re still kinda wide
The videos seem to get better and better.
Sites, sounds, edits, camera angles.
Riding lots in South Texas.
Thank you Sarah ❤
That means a lot! Thank you!! 😊
Texas has some nice weather right now! Hope you're enjoying it!

And that ride must have been so much fun!
It was! 😊thank you!
I always like to see the pink bar tape or bar-ends on your bike. I hope you will always have them.😁
I will 😊 thank you!
Nitto 🤩🌟
Wish I could have all Nitto handlebars
@ i want the bull moose!! thank you sarah!
Nitto handlebar are my favv
Love them too!
Does this mean we're going to see a "day in the life of Sarah at work" at some point? LOL. The temp doesn't seem bad, but that wind sounds brutal.
Lol, it's not fun just staring at a screen all day!
💨 the wind feels like training. You could pedal hard and not go very far. Thanks for stopping by! ⚙️✨
Love your videos,I never actually seen you?,
So many of us! What bike do you have? I remember people a lot by bikes ⚙️✨
Our therapy...another Sarah vid. I have compact drops on 2 of my fixies, and bullhorns on another. I have to say I like the trimmed width of your Nitto risers, and they have an aesthetic shape as they contour at 31.8mm from the stem out to the grips (of course in Sarah pink!)
I wish I had two bikes! What bike frames do you have? Modifying/ swapping out handlebars makes me happy! Feels like a new bike. Thank you! 😊
@@FixedGearCycling In January of 2010 I bought a fixed bike made by Giant and named a "Bowery 72". It is an aluminum frame in candy apple red with exposed metal on the forks to mimic bikes from 1972. I have changed parts for a better fit. Then I wasn't planning on getting another fixed gear bike, but at the end of the season Giant was getting out of the fixie models and had a sale. I decided I would buy the discounted bike called the "Bowery Mashup" and paint it with cheap brushed on black paint so it would be unappealing to thieves. This was the same frame but painted in a MASH colour way. Bright fluorescent green and pink on a white background, with a pink front wheel, and a green rear wheel. I rode the bike home from the shop, and I have been amazed ever since by the attention it receives. I couldn't bring myself to paint it black. It has the bullhorn bars. (sorry for the long story.)
@@FixedGearCyclingI swap bars all the time. It does keep the ride interesting
Chestie cam.
that dude in that bike shop is great
He is! I learn so much from him
Just reminded me how much I want to get rid of my drop bars but haven’t gotten around to it
Every time I use other handlebars, I end up missing the drop bars
The bars are looking great!!! Btw, what camera do you use? Your footage is next level!
Thank you so much 😊

I'm digging the new look. I thought about cutting my bars down also, I just haven't done it yet. We've been stuck with super cold weather for a month and it finally broke 50 degrees. Short respite however, since it'll be 7F on Monday. Bah.
Cold weather is okay, but when the wind hits against you while cycling. It sucks 😭 which bars are you thinking of cutting down?
Lol! the edits
♥️
If those are the Shred bars we’re rocking the same bars right now.🤘🏼My bars are uncut though, feels like im steering a broom stick.😂
Sure are! Omg, they're so wide!!!! I've been getting them cut down slowly. Are you in NYC? How do you manage to fit through
@ Shred Bars Gang!🤘🏼For mixed terrain / tracklocross it’s like you’re on a fixie tank, & they add a bit of reassurance to the frame if one were to accidentally crash. Im on the west coast, LA to be exact. I’ll take up a whole lane out here if & when there’s no more bike lane left. Traffic is hell so with the right hand gestures you’re always able to flow in & out of it.🤷🏻♂️
4:49 😂
Lol!
beautiful! what are your thoughts on risers vs drops? advantages and disadvantages? i'm new to track bikes and have only had drops. your videos have been so inspirational as i get started. gracias y abrazo!!
That means so much! 🥹♥️ thank you!
I miss my drop bars every time I use anything else. Risers are fun to skid comfortably, and I am new to it too. I am making a year in April.
I find it easier to learn with risers! I switched to these risers so I can practice how to ride Fakie and Wheelie, and I don't mind grips ripping up
@@FixedGearCycling Gracias! Yeah have much work to do on the skrrrrrrt front. Can't seem to get the hang of it!
Cool video!👍 what is your gear ratio?🤔
47x17
@@FixedGearCyclingit’s fast!🚲💨
My bike is at that shop.
The best!
wow the wind has been rough while I cycle it feels I am staying in the spot over how strong
Yeah, cycling against the wind sucks! 💨
What camera did you use for the inside of the bike shop
iPhone 13
how did you decide to cut your bars and how are you liking the current width? thinking i should try the same but idk if i'll miss the width
I am going by the comfort! I still might go a tiny bit more down! I am going slowly, so I don't regret it. Maybe shave down just a little!
That fart the grips to slide in is not what some do. Baby powder works too.
The grips' ending has a penny to keep them from ripping quickly. Maybe that's why
WIDTH?
48 cm
Mami be careful ❤
Lol! Can't wait to cycle in PR ✨🌴
