It is kind of strange having an unprotected bike lane going against traffic. I don't mind going against traffic but my partner hates when we do it as they say its dangerous too, which I can't argue with. Drivers aren't looking where they're turning and I've definitely had some close calls. That said I'll take a bike lane if I'm in a "mind off, just bike" mood, but even then I'll hop out of it if there is a better line. Often times though its just vibing through the streets

Lol! I practice gratitude, and cleaning my bike is a form of showing appreciation for it 😭. The frame and wheels are six years old. I clean it every month. I try to maintain it so I won't need another one 😭 Find joy in it. That's the secret ✨

Where did you get that watch thing on your headset? Also I read somewhere that riding fixed gear affects knees on long term, what do you feel about that?
Stemcaptian Shop has more options, and they have an online site! I heard about the knees becoming a problem, but you need to set up your seat post in a way that suits you. Stretching and ice packs daily after biking or just in general will keep you strong. Never ride your seat too low.
Ahh it is a mid-summer over there, hopefully it would start to cool down soon!
