outdoor house paint is a great idea. for some reason back in the late 80's when we skated mini ramps, nobody had done this. we went thru a new layer of masonite every year even in Phx.. $1200 is a great price for a complete mini.. im considering this now! (at 51)
Looks great. Clean work. The only thing I would add is a basic railing on top. There's definitely some tricks where you might end up on the deck and it's easy to fall off the back.
I have looked EVERYWHERE for 3ft tall 12ft wide ramp plans. Thank you for making the plans available on patreon. Going to build this in my basement before the winter hits this year!
Planning to build a mini ramp in our back yard for myself and my son using your plans. I'm wondering how yours holds up to the weather, would love to see an update on how its holding up around 6 months to a year after it has been in use. Thank you!
We replaced the top layer about a year later after we had an ultra wet spring. Most of it was fine but a couple of the seams had started to come up a bit. It's not a perfect solution, particularly if you have a lot of snow/ice, but it definitely works!
one coat of waterproof bitumen/paint (for bathroom , boat , etc ) would be good over the main wooden structure to avoid any water infiltration and then cover it with the last waterresistant wood layer
This is awesome! Looking forward to building this. Not looking forward to lumber prices but we will skate our financial woes away! Ill let yall know how it comes out
Hey love this. I’ve started to make one based on your video. Can you let me know how deep the cuts are in the side walls to hold the 2 inch pipe and ensure it sticks out the right amount?

I saw you guys deleted the resin swing video! Please post it on here if that’s the plan for all the Halloween - unrelated projects lol! It’s one of my favorites!
I'm in Florida. About to build a 16ft wide by 5ft high with 2 extensions for my boys. I was wondering how yours is holding up? Is it starting to rot/deteriorate or is the exterior paint protecting it fine?
I also told my wife, when we were looking at houses to buy, we need one with a backyard big enough to build a halfpipe in, or we aint even buying a house!
For anybody that plans to do this if you want to save money and you don't have that kind of money you could actually just buy everything pieces at a time
Thanks for watching! Our main channel has more awesome content: th-cam.com/users/wickedmakers
Any update? How has it held up?

Thanks for this video! Looking to make one in Scotland and I can only imagine how hard that's going to be as it rains every 17 seconds here.

How big/tall is your basement?
This is awesome, can't wait to have a yard.
I admire the love! Solid wife and husband combo! Great build as well!
Nice video.

Next to no snow in middle GA, but plenty of humidity. I wonder if the skate paint that OC Ramps sells might be a good solution to seal it up good.

That beholder shirt is sick! Great video dude

Would like to see this ramp now. How did the paint hold up? What paint did you use?

This was an amazing insparation for me !!!!
Congrats on the baby🎉
Really cool
Radical dude!
🤘🤘
How is the paint holding up? Is it slick?
im so glad i found this from your main chanel
Did you use the radius of a circle or did you use an ellipse for the transition shape?
how is the weatherproofing paint/top layer holding up?
Where did you buy your bamboo 1/8' plywood? And how much was it per sheet
You should add a material list to your webpage/article. Can't seem to find one. Nice vid!
You can sharpen your drill bits with an angle grinder. It's worth it. Also use oil for drilling metal
Make sure the grain of the plywood is going horizontal when you bend it. It's obvious to most but just adding that bit of info.

How’d the 6 foot transition treat ya? Seems aggressive for 3’, no? I think most companies do 7’ on their 3s. Great video thanks!
When I was super into skateboarding I wanted to make one of these really bad, but I just didnt have the proper experience with wood and concrete.
It’s easier to build than you might expect. Just need some basic stuff. 😄
Классно сделали, молодцы! Попробую повторить ваш успех
Living in Canada I'm not sure how that would handle winter.🎉
Could you use Johnsons water seal on the plywood instead of adding another layer and paint?
Just curious how many sheets of 3/4" plywood did this need
I'm inspired, but at 72 I don't think I'll make one. I would have loved it 30 years ago though.
How did you drill the holes for the 1/2 inch bolts on the flat ground pieces? Can’t seem to fit a drill in that small of a space?
How has it held up?
4:10 what is the length of bolt? I know the diameter says 0.5” but the length is missing from the blueprints. Thanks
🤩 WOW

Where can I get the bamboo plywood?

Hi ! do you have a drawing with dimensions in Meters, please? I would like to create one for myself.
How tall is the mini ramp? 3.5 feet?
Total cost of lumber: $2.8 million 😅
How much to build it
Gotta wear a helmet, we're no spring chickens anymore. I really do sound like my dad 🤦

Puñeteras pulgadas
THE ONE PIECE IS REAL
How about if you make glitch trap from fnaf
X games ramp would have been cheaper and udsed less wood. Suprised it didnt have titanium paint and dimond encrusted gold rail.
Selling half pipe plans is a sin 🤣
