As far as we study to “show [ourselves] approved” may we as men be even quicker to accept our selves as “earthen vessels” which God has sovereignly placed His treasure.

Thank you for your focus on Christ. When I heard that Psalms contains the highest % of what we know about God, I started a notebook in which I write down for each verse the attributes, work and words of God. It is a big surprise how much is there. I'm also doing a similar thing with the N.T. and Jesus. I don't like to buy stuff online, but had to buy The Preeminent Christ. In that book I saw quotes from Issac Ambrose Looking unto Jesus. This last book I found is free online. Such a blessing.

There is a significant difference between learning and imitating as opposed to reverential worship and fear of something as an object of deity. But since I love the Word of God, I'll end with this: "Let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance- for understanding proverbs and parables, the sayings and riddles of the wise. Excellent selection! After several years of study, I have begain to view my favorite authors almost as friends, entering the study becomes a reunion of advisors. Men like Samuel Logan Brengle, J.A. Wood, Beverly Caradine, and Jaimeson Fausett and Brown, although limited in the amount of text they addressed, have been a great blessing to me as well! And music. Keep an instrument in your study and use song to enrich the moments with christ.
God only knows how much Paul has blessed me and I thank God that a teacher of mine (Frank Jones) referenced Paul on one of his teachings. God bless all the true men of God yesterday, today and tomorrow for the glory of God 🙏✝️🕯️†††😢
Are you Calvinist sister? Because today in the age of grace, we are saved by grace through faith alone in Jesus alone. If you add anything onto Jesus sacrifice, like works to prove or maintain your salvation, you don’t trust Jesus fully and rely on yourself rather than the saviour! Asking because I too followed Washers teachings until I discovered they were false.

Thanks God for this video. I am a new believer in Christ and i have find myself a new person who would spend hours of day reading the Word of God. Even i have not completed reading the whole Bible thoroughly once, it helps my study more systematically and orderly which i have asked it in my prayer. Btw i was used to be an amateur athlete but i am being transformed by Jesus now. The Lord is not a part of calvinism. So, whenever Paul Washer dives into calvinism, the Lord certainly does not approve. Sometimes Paul Washer is accurate. But when he speaks as a calvinist, he's 100% incorrect. TULIP is 100 % heresy

He is well pleased in His son Jesus Christ. God has feelings, just like we do. We were created after His image after all right? I remember watching theologian R.J. Rushdoony's library. It was like walking into a public one. Rows and rows of books. He was renown for reading a book per day. Surely we Christians are more than the peopke of the Book. We are people of the books.

What guides you in deciding on / arriving at exact books to buy for your library....since there are so many sound/ reformed theological books written?
Man thank you you gave me what II needed most read, it the hardest for me, I'm dyslexic reading is tuff, I'm 70, in a time that schools did not see it as a learning problem, but a layzy person problem.
NICOT and NICNT are some of the best commentaries available. great library!

Such a humble Pastor. His external appearance says so many things about him. The way he dress alone tells alot about him. I hated the world b/c of Jesus and his followers like Paul Washer. Paul Washer is such a blessing to me, I can only imagine how he makes God feel.
The Lord is not a part of calvinism. So, whenever Paul Washer dives into calvinism, the Lord certainly does not approve.
Sometimes Paul Washer is accurate. But when he speaks as a calvinist, he's 100% incorrect.

He is well pleased in His son Jesus Christ. God has feelings, just like we do. We were created after His image after all right? Only thing is our feelings are marred by sin because of what the decision made in Eden to eat from the forbidden fruit did. This is my conclusion based on what I have seen in the Bible.

I remember watching theologian R.J. Rushdoony's library. It was like walking into a public one. Rows and rows of books. He was renown for reading a book per day.
Surely we Christians are more than the peopke of the Book. We are people of the books.

Now I have to go out and get in debt buying a bunch of books
Matthew 24:14 "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end(: Study to know what is ending, and beginning pray for wisdom) come."
Matthew 24:12 "And because iniquity(:ἀνομία:anomia: Lawlessness, the desire to seek have no rules of God) shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
Pray for wisdom and love the lord thy God with all your remembering and imagining, for will thy getting get understanding. Love always believes and hopes with an enduring kindness. Won't you be a good tree bearing good fruit?
The question is, did Paul Washer choose his books or were they pre-elected for him in order for him to understand his theology... food for thought.... lol
