    This song is actually about dealing with a grief. "Paskana springs from the passing of a friend's father and the feelings it evokes. During the evening, Siipola watched how his loved ones tried to be part of the shared moment after the loss. Paskana deals with grief and gives its listeners permission to be broken: why do others shop and go on with their lives while my world has come to a complete standstill? According to the artist, the power of the song comes from the fact that it does not give a romanticized picture of sadness with a happy ending."
    Knowing this story I found it very relatable and got it from a get go.

      As someone who lost her father, this is so accurate

    "Paska" means literal shit. Paskana means like you're wrecked or gone to shit

    This song is actually about "IT'S OK to feel like shit". So this means any shitty situation, not just breakup. She said that she got inspired by her friend who lost her dad and feeling like being in two worlds: shitty emotional world and reality where you have to pretend.

    This was The feeling after last year Eurovision results. We felt so sorry for Käärijä. My favourite is Cyan Kicks this year but this could Be so good to go to Malmö. In Finland we hate so much losing. Especially to Sweden. And everyone have felt that way which she is singing. Loreen has got the another Queen to compete. ☺️

    Laura, may i ask how many languages you speak? You sound so fluent but I'm also confused because you seem to know a lot or have you only learned greetings. Thanks for the reactions, 🕊️ peace

    Would have liked a nice and beautiful ballad instead. And maybe with a more lyrical content.

    • @sav0001
      @sav0001 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It's got plenty of lyrical content and is relatively to the majority of people IMO. In comparison with Cyan Kicks who a lot of people are loving that have very cliche lyrics

    • @ratyjoona
      @ratyjoona 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@sav0001 Cyan Kicks is from different genre, and not as often associated with the best lyrical content. That doesn't mean this one would be any good. I see that the themes are actually quite similar but both songs may feel quite repetitive and cliche.

    The song title means literally "as a sh*t". Not my favourite tbh

    • @rm_skis
      @rm_skis 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It does not and as a Finnish speaker you know it. Stop being an asshole just because you stan somebody else. The title means ”broken” or ”fucked up”. Context matters, little boy.

    • @user-vj4dp4xr8k
      @user-vj4dp4xr8k 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      it's a slang word..yes, literally it means 'as a shit'... but its meaning here is not that the person is literal poop.

    • @ratyjoona
      @ratyjoona 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@user-vj4dp4xr8k Well, English language has similar slang words based off curse words.

      @@severk5774Ohh, this comment actually just showcased it. Just, I don't really fancy such titles, and it could create some additional problems due to EBU rules as well

    • @nooraemilia9688
      @nooraemilia9688 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      the straight translation is ''as a shit'' but by meaning it translates to ''fucked up''. My husbys mothertongue is english and as a shit literally doesn't make sense or doesn't mean what the song title actually means.

      It is not bad at all, personally I think this is the best by far out of the 3 songs released so far. It is the only one out of the 3 that will be competitive in ESC IMO
