    The First operation is Machining, where a Machine and a Labor Resource need to work together for 4 hours to complete the operation. The second operation is Assembly where two assemblers need to work sequentially for 3 hours each to complete the operation. The third operation is packing which is done by a Machine and takes 1 hour for completion. The plant works for 8 Hours in a day from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All Machines in the Plant are currently wor at 50% Efficiency. Please calculate the Manufacturing Lead time for the Assembly.

      1.2 hours is the answer bro

    • @sumanjyoti6063
      @sumanjyoti6063 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      let the no. of hours required be H , let one man be P and the other man be Q, then P x 3 = Q x 2
      And Q = 3/2 P
      USING Q=3/2 P in the first equation, P x 3 = (P + 3/2 P) x H.
      Solving this we get H = 1.2 hours final answer

    if some men do a piece of work in 15 days, how many more men will be required to do 3/5th of the work?

    • @TalentSprintAptitudePrep
      @TalentSprintAptitudePrep  ปีที่แล้ว

      Question is fishy. Existing men can complete 3/5th of the work. Why do you need more men to complete the work.
      Let's assume x men can complete 1 work in 15 days.
      x men can complete 3/5th of the work in 15x3/5 days i. e. 9 days.

  • @RaviKumar-sj1kf
    @RaviKumar-sj1kf 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Q. When A alone does a piece of work, he takes 16 days more than the time taken by (A+B) to complete the work, while B alone takes 9 days more than the time taken by (A+B) to finish the work. What time, A and B together will take to finish the work?
    Hi sir, please solve this question.

    • @ruchikasureka6610
      @ruchikasureka6610 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      what is the ans?

    • @RaviKumar-sj1kf
      @RaviKumar-sj1kf 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The formula to be used for the question is "Square root of A multiply square root of B" which is [√a * √b]
      Solution : A takes 16days and B takes 9days, substitute the values in the formula.
      √16 * √9
      = 4 * 3 = 12 days ,so A and B together takes 12 days.
      But i cannot understand whats the concept about this question and how to solve using traditional method. That is why i posted this question for easy explanation. But no reply from them.😩😩

    • @basilnari6811
      @basilnari6811 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Let (A+B) together can complete the work in 'a' days. Since A takes 16 days more than (A+B), the time taken by A be "16+a" days and similarly time taken by B be "9+a" days.
      Equate the efficiencies, (1/a) = (1/(16+a)) + (1/(9+a)). By solving this equation we get the value of a as 12days.
      Hope this helped u.
