This was on my home page for some reason and I couldn't not listen. This game is the amalgamation of my childhood and love for final fantasy. I bought it on a whim being scared that it was a racing game (because of the cover). I had never played this type of RPG before but I was absolutely enthralled. It took me years to beat it and many times would get hardstuck in the castles for not keeping a 2nd save, but I always found the will to start over from the beginning because honestly- who cares, it's such a good fucking game I didn't even mind. If SE does do the rumored remake or remaster, I hope they do it justice. This game is so important to a lot of people it really is more than just re-releasing an old game.
This song, and "Reunion" from final fantasy 7 are my all time faves. I don't understand how more people don't enjoy these instrumental masterpieces.
