This was a particularly fun video to make because the ending of each take was completely different from the others. The ending of this dance is pure improvisation, which is one of my favorite things to do as a tap dancer. I liked how this ending turned out best. :)

The floor covers too much reverb.
John M I know. It’s actually because of where the camera was placed versus where the floor is. The camera is in the center of the gazebo and I was on the outskirts so the sounds travelled up and bounced through the vaulted ceiling causing the weird boingy reverb you’re hearing. We didn’t notice until after we finished filming and since I almost got heat exhaustion during recording, we decided just to keep it. It’s so weird but luckily subtle enough. :)
