  • Talk's Kevin O'Sullivan is joined by animal rights activist Peter Egan and CEO of Compassion in World Farming, Philip Lymbery to discuss the nature and future of mass fish farming.
About the topic Philip says there is a lot that "can be done better" but even so "it doesn't make sense" as it "cages" fish that should be out in the wild.
The trio also talk about the intelligence of octopus and how fish farms are essentially "factory farms in water.".

And you may ask what will be used with the money from paying foreign vessels, it must be used to police British waters and conserve and create a great environment for all fish in Britain so that fish populations can grow and therefore the horrible fish farming practice that is mentioned can end.
