I share a lot of sympathy for the train staff that have to endure such ridiculous behaviour from aggresive people. These problems are not their fault and they deserve compassion for the difficult problems they face unpredictably. They can only do the best at what they can do. Very nice people when I meet them. Taking your anger and frustration out on the driver just because your train is late is not acceptable they try and stay within the time table close as possible but however unforeseen things do happen that is beyond the rail operator's control.
If it is such a good job why did I knock back the $20K bonus to stay on for a year after I turned 55 ? It used to be a good. Glad to be out of it. And Tim, carry a bloody camera, I did.
I refused to take crap, for delays out of my control. Senior managers should have travelled with the public to explain the reasons for delays, such as poor maintenance.
@accountnotavailable They had franchises for two British rail networks revoked not long after they got the contract for Melbourne, were delivering abysmal substandard service apparently. And the people the Kennett government brought in to do the privatization were from Britain, hrm
Yep, that’s per tunnel, so times that by 4 and you got 100+ trains running through that loop an hour 1000+ trains a day passing through that loop, let’s say we’ve got 500 6 car trains running on the network, that’s them going through the loop at least twice a day
haha you've got to be kidding yourself if you say metro is reliable, one of the worst public transport services in the world. Crowded trains, delays, cancelled services. Begging for fare evading with such terrible services.
