Hello Dr. Lori Peek! I am Md. Jamilur Rahman from Bangladesh and I am studying M.Sc. in Environment Management at Independent University Bangladesh. One of our M.Sc. subject is Disaster Management. As a consequence of my study i have gone through the PRESSURE AND RELEASE model and have some question on it. As per PAR talked about various social aspect of disaster management and it only focused on access and ideology that creates dynamic pressure and drives the community to unsafe condition. so my question is why don't it think about transparency and accountability of the state? can you please make it a bit easier to me to understand PAR in a better way?
