The most interesting thing about social is learning about human characteristics and their role in society. And also how one's characteristic is different from others

You see... There are so many different approaches in sociology... And each of them seems to be a true model, a true description of how human society works... Actually, each of them describes some aspect or some level of the real life of human society... And Karl Marx didn't read George Orwell's "1984"... Otherwise, he'd have known that the rebellion of the lowest class, working class, is almost impossible... Without the rule of the Middles...

    • @my2centz728
      @my2centz728 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Remember, Marx's perspective only involved two classes; Bourgeois and Proletariat because there was no middle. Now ask yourself, why was the middle class established?

The true root cause of all social problems stems directly from the monopolization over the economy and the monetary unit. These are the two factors we use to determine the misery index. And this is solid despite the fact that the misery index is formulated by factoring in the unemployment rate and rate of inflation these two factors are deeply embedded in the more deeper root cause of Monopoly over economy and monetary unit. The accademia does not want the point this out because they themselves operating their own little Monopoly within the greater Monopoly of the world. Hence using government to subsidize their ever-growing paychecks and expanding administrative departments it's a primary example of how they need to continue to propagate falsehoods and point to you only to the symptoms of what's wrong with Society as opposed to the root cause. Welcome to the cult of symptomology. You will spend hundreds of thousands of dollars potentially going to University and never learn this basic hidden truth, which is a very very very important truth as it allows you to escape the cult of symptom ology. Adult only be through economic freedom and a sound monetary unit to represent the fruits of your labour without being subject to inflation that gives you the ability to demonstrate that you were actually free and then ways that you can measure for real value

    So i'm 11:46 in.
The C. Wright Mills quote. 1959.
I'm listening thinking yeah, yeah makes sense...but not even thirty seconds later realize it's outright wrong. Not only that but rather obviously so.
This combined with the "perspective" which honestly sounds no different to an ideology or religion is not giving me the "OH that's what this really is and i just happened to only be hearing about the bullshit" that I expected as comes when i seek a fields experts....
I should say why it's wrong. First, it's right to say the FAULT lay's not on the individual. It's incorrect to say the solution isn't found within one individual. That is precisely where it comes from always except when its just dumb luck. Not all individuals. I think this is where it was lost. Couldn't see the tree through the forest.
To be fair it then follows from that individual to others. The implementation involves others but as it's a problem involving others that's in the area of tautology i feel.
    Edit:
So kept watching. 2 minutes later. Epic! This is the founding father of our religion who believed he could create an atemporal...let me be generous and say set of guidelines that can guide humanity.
    religion.
How is it not? you may say they study people...so do religions and their preachers.
Starting to think this is as much a science as Scientology XD
perhaps i'll find another person to watch least i judge an entire discipline by an individual. Perhaps it was merely a lack of careful word choice.
OMFG...I happened to have had it pause moments before she first said "founding fathers", I had picked that as a slightly derogatory term. now BOOM XD losing my balance over here :D

It is odd that a has-been economist (Marx) who was proven wrong when all his theories failed the test of reality is a hero in sociology. Her other gods who explained "division of labor" about 1900 yet didn't mention Adam Smith who described specialization, division of labor, and economics of trade quantitatively more than half a century before the sociology heroes.
Smith's theories have held the test of time and Marx's theories have killed about 75 million people by starvation. Her description of sociology is more like a religion than real science. Real science tests old theories and rejects the ones that don't work. We may use Newton's physics for car collisions but not GPS locations.
