Yes Bilal was the first ever person to thr adhan. Therefore after 1400 years people are still following the way of bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) and the beloved prophet. Bilal is the muezzin of the prophet.

When siddi Bylal were asked how come you kept on saying the same word over n over defiantly through all the torture, "One ,One" he said, it was the only thing i knew about the message of Mohamad and God at that time, the only thing that i can hang on to.

Our master Bilal Ibn Rabah, may God be pleased with him, was one of the companions of the Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and he was the first muezzin in Islam. He had a beautiful voice, so the Messenger asked him to climb on the roof of the Kaaba and pronounce the call to prayer, may God be pleased with all the companions of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him.
The Prophet peace be upon him said in his last sermon < There is no difference between an Arab and a non-Arab, and there is no difference between a white person and a black person, except on the basis of piety >

Bilal a.s.was the first human on the planet to do 'Adzaan. Bilal a.s. was one of the companions of the prophet Muhammad s.a.w. who was promised heaven, because the prophet once told that he dreamed that Bilal's sandals were at the door of heaven. Wow!
He not only the first man to call Muslims for prayer but also the first man to enter paradise before all mankind because of his powerful Iman. Prophet Muhammad heard foot steps at paradise and he ask Allah who is that? Allah said that is Bilal RA.
The Video basically gave the message that the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him, gave Hazrat Bilal RA the highest honor of giving the first adhan. He was first a slave, got tortured for believing in the ONE GOD, ALLAH, and then freed. Was asked to give adhan, call to the prayer for Muslims, when they were looking for a way to call all Muslims to pray at designated times of prayer. The adhan is still given today around the world.
