All of you saying that people are brilliant and all that... maybe you guys are not aware that before the 2000's you had to be 6yrs or 5+ years to attend primary 1, primary schools were 6yrs, you have to be 12yrs or 11+ to attend secondary school, you have to be 18yrs or 17+ to enter university.

That's a lie... I was almost 4 when I started primary school in 1987... No one made it compulsory that you should be 6 before entering pry school

This man is not worthy of being a minister. He simply wont perform at all. He is not even properly grilled and he lacks vision. The senators are also not asking most of relevant and intelligent questions from these nominees. There should not be anything like TAKE A BOW AND GO to anyone who will be nominated to take a huge responsibility of this country, it is unacceptable. They must be properly grilled without favoritism.

The nominee said he started in 1984 and graduated 1989. That's 5 yrs. Did he skip a class? Sec sch is 1990 to 1995. That's another 5yrs. Did he skip another class in sec sch? Why can't they appoint investigators? Where are the opposition senators?

So we have these: Sept 1984 - Jun 1985 is 1yr; Sept 1985 - Jun 1986 is 2yrs; Sept 1986 - Jun 1987 is 3yrs; Sept 1987 - Jun 1988 is 4yrs; Sept 1988 - Jun 1989 is 5yrs; and Sept 1989 - Jun 1990 will be 6yrs. But he graduated in 1989. So how did he graduate in 1989 when he just finished primary 5?

I finished pri sch in Ngr in 1987 before him and the 6-3-3-4 (6yrs in pri sch, 3yrs in junior sec, 3yrs in senior sec, 4yrs in univ) system of education came into being in Nigeria in 1983 before the 1984 start year he claimed. In the 1960s after independence, Ngr changed to 6yrs of pri sch and 5yrs of sec sch. So 6yrs of pri sch started far far back. The problem with Nigeria is that when something smells, people cover it because it is coming from someone from his / her tribe or someone his / her political master is supporting. Do simple research! Something is smelling here.

Prof isn't smart enough to say he spent less than 6yrs in primary school. We have people who had promotions in primary school or who wrote the entrance exam at even primary 3
