Mistakes of this sham and shameful screening process. 1. They keep the nominee standing the whole time, while they sit their fat behinds in their seats. There should be a hearing room used for screenings, where the nominees are seated, not left standing. 2. Olodo, they didn't ask him for what he can offer at an initial stage. The Senate President only asked him to introduce himself. You people must sha look for something to talk about even if it is irrelevant.
He had to do that introduction as he was asked to, to let everyone see how far this country has come with all the bits and pieces of everyone who fought for the restoration of democracy in Nigeria. Besides, dodging bullets from the Abacha boys was what most of them the pro-democracy activists did in the 90s while the likes of Peter Obi and Atiku were running businesses to make money. If he or anyone else, just like Nelson Mandela in South Africa, almost lost their life to the terror machine and they survived it I believe they're endowed with the leadership qualities to lead the country. I'm very glad that most of them who as young men and women following the revered Obafemi Awolowo are now the leaders and captains steering the affairs of this country. I have no single doubt they'll do far better than anyone who came before them.
The Americans that we copy never keep guests they are screening, or getting depositions from, standing. They are provided with seats to makw them comfortable, while answering questions. By the way, many questions asked by these Senators are wishy washy!!! Do they know the enormity of this Ministerial srceening at all?!!!
These nominees come in wth no potfolio yet attacjed to them for screening. How do they keep asking them questions peculiar to a particular portfolio as if they already know what portfolio the nominee stands for. Please the senators should ask questions bothering on all sectors of the economy. Every nominee should be knowledgeable enough to know something about other sectors and everything about his area of interest.
The screening is only ceremonial, nothing comes out of it. All the criminals and those with questionable characters have all been cleared. That tells a lot.
But you didn't call them all these after Obasanjo's federal government denied them state allocation for years. And then they transformed Lagos from a N600M monthly revenue bucket to a N61B monthly revenue moneymaking machine under Bola Ahmed Tinubu's masterplan. Continue with on your path to no-direction. You'll soon learn the difference between politics and government administration.
Mr Alake is good at his job no Doubt, but he should leave story of June 12, and tell us what you hope to do, I know already that ministry of information or minister of comms will suits you
That testimonial is a subtle way of reminding everyone that there's a lot of work to be done to revamp the image of this country. At least, if only all Nigerians can be reminded that there was a martyr of this democracy we now all live in and there were unshakable principles he stood for. And if everyone is praising the winning teams in Lagos that have transformed it into the 5th largest economy in Africa, everyone should be reminded it has everything to do with adhering to those unshakeable principles of that martyr.

AT THE MIDDLE OF HIS ADDRESS HE TOLD US THE YEARS HE SERVED ABIOLA, AWOLOWO ETC.
MR, ALAKE SHOULD LEARN TO BE CONSISTENT IN FUTURE WHEN HE'S PRESENTING ANY ADDRESS.
What has the mention of his age got do with his ability
Google is simply your friend. However, is his age on his CV or not?
Why and how do you congratulate someone you have not confirmed? Why all the preambles and historical storytelling? Why make speech instead of ask questions? This is frustrating
Why are APC senators protecting Alake from reciting national anthem na. Does mean he cant recite it Nigeria minister of information cannot recite national anthem 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
His question must not be partisan please
House of charades, at least the sen. President admitted that no serious questions are being asked. Come to our aid , oh lord
None of these nominees will ever pass any interview in a corporate world, unsure why it is difficult for any of them to answer a simple question" tell me about yourself? " and off they go to Papua New Guinea and back. Unbelievable!
in your own opinion .
@@clementadeola1477 your response says a lot about you. Bye!
😂
Just Marcy.. for him..
So he cannot answer if he called opponent wild dogs?
So he should answer, who will answer the derogatory names the opposition called him, he was justified to call them that because they behave like one
@@elizabetholubusolaadewuyi6604lol u know he started it all
You can imagine after singing praise of himself, he lack self çntrol, abi mouth control
Nice one
Long and short
Alaya speaker
When will it be your turn??????????????
You chested away military but don't obey court order
A criminal nominating fellow criminals as Minister norminy.
Is this your story part of the screening process.
Tell the senate what you can offer.
This so-called screen is very laughable. No quality,
Nigerians really need to know where the Nigerian state problem is coming from.
Military
Hissss, funny people, a bunch of criminals, screening another criminal😭😭
The Americans that we copy never keep guests they are screening, or getting depositions from, standing. They are provided with seats to makw them comfortable, while answering questions.
By the way, many questions asked by these Senators are wishy washy!!! Do they know the enormity of this Ministerial srceening at all?!!!
No Igbo man..has been appointed nominee..
How did we get here with this people/clowns in the chambers?
These nominees come in wth no potfolio yet attacjed to them for screening. How do they keep asking them questions peculiar to a particular portfolio as if they already know what portfolio the nominee stands for. Please the senators should ask questions bothering on all sectors of the economy. Every nominee should be knowledgeable enough to know something about other sectors and everything about his area of interest.
Sharafadeen Alli dey warm bench.😂
But the senate President interrupted him . His he not a senator too
The screening is only ceremonial, nothing comes out of it. All the criminals and those with questionable characters have all been cleared. That tells a lot.
If Dele Alake said he toured the entire local governments in Nigeria, I ask him, where is Edda Local Government Area, or he's lying.
How many Igbo people in this ministerial screening?
Mr Alakori himself
Really respect your elders
Where are the female senators
Intelligent 🧠🤓
After all the stories why are we here? You politicians are jokers
This one is going to be Minister of information 😅😅
His first call will be to close Arise TV and Chanel tv.
Dot think so
@@temilolaoluwole1410 Which part don't you think so the first, the later or both.?
You can't brand or rebrand anything when you engage in corruption, rigging, stealing, lieing, embezzlement, cultism, wikedness, etc.
He should just leave he should not take any bow abbegi
Botie dibo otiwole Henry Dele Lake.
