Love your car ! I have a 2006 530xi. I have the H&R sport springs. But have not installed yet, Still thinking on it. Bilstein B4 shocks currently no bump stops. @0:21 I will enjoy this !
No issues as long as you don’t try to go too low. The front axles on awd drive cars over time will fail if you go too low. No sensor issues or anything of that sort though. I can go another inch safely but due to it being my daily, I prefer to have a little more clearance.
Awesome ride bro, I just bought a e60 530XD In Europe. I want to drop my ride too. Did you just put springs on stock struts are they same springs for non AWD ? Or did you buy something different? Everyone here telling me not to do it don’t understand why. Thanks bro enjoy that machine
Thanks! I am lowered on Godspeed adjustable coilovers specific for the AWD model. The shock setup is different than the non-awd. This way I have ride height adjustability. The current ride height is as low as it will go with this current setup.
Hi! I have not done any engine modifications. I upgraded to a K&N air filter but that’s it. The N52 is a great and reliable engine so that’s why I chose this model for my daily driven car. As for mods, I am planning to do a tune for a little more power as well as throttle response. As well as xDelete to have the ability to change between rwd and awd. I am not a big fan of boosting NA cars. It’s just such a big process. Header, catback, intake and tune is a great start.
I will make a video this week explaining where you can get all the cosmetic pieces. As for the exhaust, I had a custom built stainless steel cat back straight pipe. No muffler or resonator. It sounds great.
It depends on what engine you’ve got. I’ve got an N52 and Radium Parts makes a flex fuel kit for them. I dont think you’d see much improvement though as it’s not a high compression engine and is naturally aspirated.

Thanks! They’re a great vehicle.
Do you think a black rear spoiler would look good or would you stick with the olivine
If it were carbon, and there were other carbon accent pieces, it might look good. I prefer the colour matched.
Will adding lowering springs turn on any failed x drive warnings? Anything like that?

@@Dunna_shreds did you have to use different front sway bar links so it doesn't hit the front drive axles?
Hey Rayan,

Do the wheels, coil overs give an abs/tcs light on dash?
No. Those lights are going to be speed and/or brake sensor related.
i just bought one ik this video is two years old can this run e85 and drive it every day and what will it do to my car

what coilovers?
Godspeed. Good coilover for the money
Let me know what you think or if you have any questions!
If you remember, where did you purchase the front air dam from? Thx...
Hi, it’s from Ikon Motorsports. It’s plastic and fitment was pretty much perfect. No modification to make it fit.
