We used to have one, which we filmed when packing our bikes for our first flight... but as we've gotten better at packing and it wasn't up to date anymore we took it down. Maybe we'll do another one sometime! 😊
While I understand your opinion regarding tourism and development from a local Costa Rican perspective it's a way for their economy to grow and generate foreign income. It's easy to forget this when your country of origin is so rich and you are so privileged. Great videos and you both have a good on camera presence!
True, there are always two sides to the story. Although we did get the impression some locals were also very fed up by the tourists. Not just in Costa Rica but in many touristy places we’ve visited. Tourism, in our opinion, isn’t the issue. Mass tourism and over selling something is.

@@chadsteverson4990 Well generally it’s not physically possible to ride from Panama to Colombia, because there aren’t any roads. So you either have to take a boat or plane, and for us, as mentioned above, it was the best option to take a plan from Costa Rica to Colombia.

Sometime back you were discussing wet feet and water basically penetrating through all layers including shoes. Have you ever considered waterproof socks. As strange as it sounds a good pair of waterproof do everything that a pair of waterproof shoes can't. I buy mine off Aliexpress $10 pair and not experienced wet cold feet since, and no sweating either. They breath away smells and are treated against fungus etc. long lasting as well.
Hey, thanks for following along for so long already and for the tip! 😊 We have heard of them and at some point also thought about getting some, but always shied away because of the breathability. We thought it would be like wrapping plastic bags around the feet, which we have tried on occasions. But if you say that they are fairly breathable, we might have to reconsider! At the moment we use neoprene shoe covers over our sandals or shoes and that works pretty well, especially because it warms the feet.

Yea, we really enjoyed it! 😊 It was just easier to pack our bikes straight in Costa Rica with our friends coming there anyway.

how do you carry the boxes for the bikes?
In this case we transported them back from a bike shop in the city by taxi.
why you dint went to panama ? to bike ride .
Because our friends visited us in Costa Rica and it just worked out well packing the bikes in Costa Rica and flying straight from there.
