You obviously have inherited your mums creative flair. Your cards are beautiful, inventive and imaginative. Gorgeous card again today Christine! 👏👏👏
Thank you so much!😊😊😊
I laughed about your tidying up, and not being able to find stuff. I looked for this stamp I knew I had. I looked for days and weeks and finally reordered it. I was cleaning up and in the MOST obscure place, I found the original. Now I have 2 of them. And I found 2 dies I had looked for for months in the same place. So you are in good company. We all put our prize supplies in that special place and then look and look and look to figure out where that might have been.
It happens all too often Peggy... We're in good company indeed! 🙄🙄🙄
What a fabulous card. What a fabulous inspiration you are. I’d be lost without your thoughts, ideas and guidance. Thank you millions🤗
Wow, thank you! That's wonderful!😊😊😊
What a sweet card!!! I love the colorful butterflies!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much!🦋
The bain of most crafters ...not being able to find things until you buy them again. I could listen to you all day, very entertaining as you create your beautiful cards.
I think I'm going to have to buy some more plates... then I'll find the ones I've already bought!
I've lost count of how much duplicate stuff I've squirreled away to the in-between, wherever that is, lost it forever and it was just easier to buy it again, I'm a Numpty.
@@paulDunk1501 I'm a buyer again too😊
Years ago I made a bracelet with her name on it for our niece. I put it away until her birthday and then couldn’t find it. It finally turned up about 20 years later when we were packing up for a move. It was close to where I thought it was but sufficiently hidden so that it stayed hidden far longer than I intended!
@@teresamcdaniel3554 yeah, my wee mum must have layers of Christmas presents that she's planked somewhere that I'm destined to find sometime, it does make her laugh tho.
Lovely Christine , that blue reminds of the first time i saw a cornflower blue butterfly.
As to losing something, retrace your ateps from when you first got the plates in your hand, was there a call that you left them in the living room or put them in the kitchen etc. i find and that works really well. Wrt to ordering thing you already have is to put a number to the side wrapped in ribbon say 20 with a note to to order more. When the only those are left order more. We crafters have a bad habit if seeing something on sale and buying knowing we will need them at some point 😊
I just gave a stamp set to Deb that I thought I had two of… but it turned out to be three… so someone else will be benefiting from my oversight !🤣🤣🤣
Your Mother sounds as talented as mine was and indeed many Women of the post war era. They could knit, sew, crochet, bake, make hats, arrange flowers, decorate cakes, grow flowers and vegetables. Our smocked dresses were a delight to wear and hearing you reminisce about your dear Mother brought a tear to my eye. Now to the card. It may not be what you intended, but it's a triumph of adaptation and innovation. I love the muted blues behind the tissue. Thanks for the memories.🦋
It was a different era wasn't it Helen! I was born just a couple of months after the war ended and there simply weren't things around aplenty, so sweaters were undone, the wool washed to get out the kinks, and reknitted into other garments, often adding a stripe if there's wasn't enough wool to make a larger garment for growing kids. Fair Isle pullovers were very popular, all sorts of odd wool could be used for those!😊😊😊
@@Chrissieannie Oh yes, I remember woolen garments being re-purposed in that way. I also notice the beautiful knitted and crocheted baby clothes and shawls on British TV programmes such as "Call the Midwife" What resourceful and indomitable Women we are descended from. 🌻🌻🌻
@@helenwallace4870 exactly!😊
Hi Chris, what a very pretty card today I love the tissue technique, the blue background makes the butterflies pop, thanks for lovely demo 😁
You are so welcome
Love how the blue enhanced the butterflies. The end result was very pretty.
Thank you😊😊😊
Lovely butterflies in blue!🦋 We all have bits and bobs we save and this was a terrific use of the tissue paper stamping! You may not crochet but you have the creative mind!❤
Thanks so much! 😊
I love that use of tissue paper, absolutely gorgeous 🎉
Thanks so much 😊
Really loved the butterflies and the technique with using up some "scraps" to enhance them. Great project!
Glad you liked it!🦋🦋🦋
Absolutely love the change the color paper made! It was beautiful either way, but so fun to see the different looks. Sounds like talent runs in your family!
Thank you so much!
I'm always putting things in a safe place and the losing them!! Love where your imagination takes you.Beautiful card ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Christine, you amaze me how you come up with your ideas!! I truly enjoy your videos!! I have learned so much from you!!
I'm so glad!😊
I didn’t understand the ordering things you already have until recently. I have only been crafting for 2 1/2 years after my partner built me a lovely little craft room. I have now accumulated a lot of stuff and done this twice in the past month😮 so funny. Beautiful card Christine, thank you for sharing xx
I think it happens to us all😊😊😊
Oh my! That card came to life when you put the blue behind it! WOW!
Thanks🦋🦋🦋
A very happy surprise when we think along the lines of one way and then go a completely different way, this is what I love about crafting ❤ the card turned out beautifully
It's fun isn't it!😊😊😊
Lovely card, the blue made lots of difference 💙
Thanks so much 😊
oh fab card again. the bodys of the butterflies made so much difference and the black glitzy bits just sent it soaring into the stratosphere, probably with your new plates 😂😂
I've just ordered some more... I know the others will get used... When I find them!
Lovely & simple, love butterflies 🦋 🦋 🦋
🦋🦋🦋
Awe, I see you have craft room gremlins too. 😊 perplexing wheee they keep moving things to. 😁 I agree, you’re very creative and I so enjoy watching, and learning new things. Thank you!

Your new plates are now part of the rings of Saturn!
I've ordered some more!🙄
I put a birthday bracelet in a safe place......I have til August to find it......
What an absolutely clever card......
I am so happy I found your link !!!!!!!
It's so irritating isn't it!😊😊😊
Always such a delight watching how things will turn out, this one was lovely with the blue.
Thank you😊
A great way of using up that pretty stamped tissue paper Chrissie and love the blue as a backing which gives it some beautiful colour, and used again behind a piece of tissue for the sentiment too which also works well. x
Thanks Pat😊😊😊
So beautiful. Love watching you create as you go.
Thanks so much 😊
I love this kind of happy accident! Great card! 🩷🩷🩷
Many thanks😊😊😊
Lovely card it worked out well in the end. The sentiment stamps look good. Thankyou. X
Glad you enjoyed it😊
Lovely the accidental blue. Even the tissue on its own looked good but the blue just lifts it.
Funny the turn things take isn't it!😊
I’m not sure what you had in mind but this card turned out beautifully! I’m going to use your lovely card as inspiration and do one myself. I so enjoy watching your videos. I feel like I’m right there with you crafting with my friend. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to the next one. Blessings on your day.
Oh thank you! It's so good to have so many friends!😊😊😊
The blue makes it sing 🦋
Many thanks... It made a difference didn't if!🦋🦋🦋
@@Chrissieannie Sure did 😃
My mom made all my clothes too and she was a beautiful crafter. I miss her. Thank you for sharing all of your wonderful ideas and talents! Another beautiful card. I loose things all the time on my craft room 🤣drives me crazy!
You are so welcome!😊😊😊
What a pretty card. I am so glad you used the blue behind the tissue paper, it really makes the butterflies pop. Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!😊😊😊
I can see who's daughter you are then Christine. One who had a very talented Mum. Because you are an inspiration to so many. Bless you.
That’s so kind of you to say so, my mum was a wonderful lady! 😊
Absolutely gorgeous.
Thank you! 😊
I liked it with the blue border! But without is more your style! Thank you!
I think it would have been fine either way!❤️❤️❤️
It was a creative winding road. 😅. Always interesting to hear you verbalize your thought process. 💜
Glad you enjoyed it!😊😊😊
I don't know exactly what you had planned but the end resulting card is beautiful, I love the blue behind and the white bodies.
I was intending that they would just be with the white card base beneath them!😊😊😊
What a great idea for adding colour. I must try that, and your card is very pretty. Thank you for another splash of inspiration. - Dawn 🌅
Have fun!😊
A very pretty card. I'm sure I have some stamped tissue paper somewhere, like you, just gotta find it😊TFS❤
Good luck hunting!🤣
Lovely! I don’t know about you, but I find delight in discovering something I didn’t know I had, couldn’t find when I wanted it, or thought one of the cats had chewed it up.
It happens all the time🫢
This turned out beautiful Chris 😊 it's , sometimes so much better when things aren't planned 😊
So true!😊😊😊
I do love the way you think about not wasting any little bit of crafting material….. myself I get the enjoyment out of the making. Love your ideas and how you work round ‘snags’. I have a lot of friends but I must have many times more cards than friends! Occasionally I give a pile in cello bags to charity shops.
I make far more than i distribute!🙂
Pure inspiration, beautiful ❤
Thank you so much!😊😊😊
Very pretty with the blue behind the butterflies. Such a lovely card 😘
Thanks so much 😊
Love how the butterflies turned out. Love the excitement you have when something unexpectedly happens.
Many thanks😊😊😊

This is Cracking 🦋Ms. Chrissie!!!

Those butterflies look so pretty with the added blue. Beautiful card Christine. Thanks and have a lovely day. Hope you find your cutting plates too xx
I hope so too!🫢
Glad you remembered the white bodies - they definitely added a certain something. Lovely card.
Agreed😊😊😊
Wow what a pretty card. I love butterflies
Me too💙🦋🦋🦋
I'm happy to know I'm not the only one who organizes myself to oblivion! LOL
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lovely and simple, Chris. Thanks so much. 🦋 From Cheryl in Spain.
Glad you liked it!😊
Loving the process of creating. Thank you Christine!
You are so welcome!😊
What a clever idea and wonderful card. The little jewels were the perfect addition.
Thanks so much!
I feel your pain😂. I bought a set of butterfly stamp, stencils, and dies and can’t find the dies 😢! I’ve gone through the entire set inventory of dies and embossing folders and can’t find them! I’m so not happy! Beautiful card 🤗
We searched for ages for an iPad my granddaughter likes to use when she comes to stay. I found it eventually in a drawer with the felt tip markers she uses! Not sure which of us left it there!!!🤣
Lovely card love the blue.
Thanks💙💙💙
So glad it’s not only me that tidies up and then can’t find stuff. Would you believe I “lost” an A3 guillotine the other day.
That's impressive!
Thanks for inspiration, Chrissie 😊
Did you know Darkroom door are closing at end of next month? I've just had a delivery from them yest. They may be bought out and turn up elsewhere but from not Aust.
Oh no I hadn't heard that!😕
I understand how you feel, I bought some lady bugs and I've put them somewhere safe and I can't find them so I know they are safe and just waiting for me. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent and time with all of us.
My pleasure😊😊😊
I'm so glad it's not just me, who tidies away with the specific aim of hiding it from ones self forever possibly, I feel your pain 😂😂😂❤
Drives me silly😕😕😕
Do so enjoy watching your videos, and now I know where you get your creativity - your Mom. Isn't it amazing how our interests and passions develop in life.😍
So true!😊😊😊
Christine, what is that marvellous little thing on the side of your glue bottle? The bit that holds the lid out of the way? 😍
It's a clip made by the husband of a crafter in his 3d printer in NY state. If you are interested. I can let you have his email address if you are in the US. He doesn't want to mail internationally.
I wondered if you had a link you could share for that glue bottle holder and also for the little gizmo on your glue bottle for holding the strap for the cap. Thanks in advance if you do!
You can email Dale correctly this is his email address dgreen31@rochester.rr.com
I love the way it changed the butterflies. Is that tissue you made or Tim Holtz?
I stamped it!
I'm learning how you think. As soon as you put the panel over the black, I said, "color." And didn't it turn out beautiful. I think those butterflies cried out for those bodies. The creative process is such a wonder We go in thinking this is what I'll do and the next thing you know it's off on an entirely different tangent. I think it's what makes it so much fun.
It really is fun isn't if!😊😊😊
Beautiful card Chrissie, I do love the blue paper background behind the butterflies...but I also loved them just being the white and black as well. No wrong answer there! It's funny how our ideas change as we are card making and we end up with something not all like we had planned. Happy accidents to me. This card is just gorgeous and the bodies on the butterflies really made a difference. Hugs, Brenda
Funny where our fancy takes us isn't it Brenda😊😊😊
Brilliant idea of the lovely bluesy color behind the tissue paper, gorgeous end result. As always! I am so glad I am not the only one who can't find her supplies! What was the buzzy thing you removed a spot on the card with? Thanks!
It was an electric eraser! I got it on Amazon😊
Too cool!
Fabulous card, I've lost count of the things I have put safe in my craft area(s), as I don't have a designated craft room.
It makes me so cross when I can't find things!
A lovely card Christine
Many thanks😊😊😊
Beautiful
Thank you😊
Beautiful card Christine 🙂 and can I ask what ink to use on tissue your images look very crisp.
It was Versamark Clair
@@ChrissieannieThank you
You are clever. Lovely card ❤
Thank you so much!
This is me . Changing my mind all the time. Lovely video perfect card.
Thanks so much!
Beautiful card. Which tool did you use to remove the mark?
It was an electric eraser from Amazon!
Beautiful card Christine
Glad you like it😊
Oh my gosh, do I ever relate to “tidying up and not finding” problem. I was never meant to be tidy. God bless my mess.
Mine too😕
Oh Christine I swear I spend 50% of my time searching for things! 😅 Love your work so much and I’m always so pleased to watch your videos , you’ve become a “girlfriend” ❤
That's a wonderful thought, thank you so much😊😊😊
My motto is: If you put something in a "safe place" it is safe from me forever!
