Hi Emmy ! I’m a 31 year old SAHM. My husband and I are debt free and have to live on a tight budget, but also still live a very abundant, wonderful life ☺️ Both my mom and I love watching your videos ❤️ thank you and Paul so much for sharing ! My daughter’s name is also Emmy. 🥰
I’ve never participated in a no spend month but have to say I’m now inspired. I’ll speak with my husband first (he’s so frugal he puts me to shame so I’m sure he won’t mind, hahaha) but now you have my gears turning about using up what we have in our freezer and pantry and only purchasing needed produce. I like this idea!
Hi great to see your having a No Spend January, Amen Sister 🙏 😊 My Cowboy and I are also having a No Spend for 6 months ❤ I'm glad I found your Channel 🙋♀️❤ We are actually putting the money 💰 literally in my Cowboys Mouth, yes Dentist, February, March will be saved for our Property Taxes, April, May and June will be saved for our Homeowners insurance. We live on $30.00 a week for our groceries. Yes Welcome to your Retirement, We are 2 🙋♀️❤
I’m in for no spend January 🙋🏻♀️…I’m retiring on December 30! I just want to save every penny I can! I have plenty to keep me busy! First I want to start organizing my house from top to bottom!!! Do all the things I’ve been wanting to do but have been to tired to do…I have books…playing cards…board games & my grandsons who can come over and we can do a pizza 🍕 movie night..etc…I have a very full pantry & freezers…so we will be really good on the food…all I’m going to need to buy is milk & produce! I’m excited for no spend January!!!!!!👍
Wowsers...just wowsers! The whole video is SOOOOOO good! I've been on a no spend year. I broke my own plan a few times to get things needed. (I'd usually look for what I already have to fill needs.) This year, I'm going to try to do better. I've had a really good income in the past and I saved a lot. One episode of a health challenge cost me a lot on medical and legal fees. Now, I'm low income. I'm content with what I have, though. The Lord supplies absolutely everything I can't provide for myself. I'm thankful. I love listening to you! ❤
I have a little toy shopping cart my grandpa made - he was a WW2 veteran and a welder - and I use it for storing potatoes. I learned how to can this year and have put up a few hundred jars of food for my family of 6. I plan to do very little if any grocery shopping January and February.
Emmy, I've been making cheese from marked down yogurt for years. It's delicious on bagels with some cracked black pepper and any other seasonings of choice. A big YES to no-spend January! Be well!
Can’t believe I saw this video because for the last week I’ve been thinking about doing a no spend January. I have a tracker that I bought where I can mark off the days with reasons why etc. I’m so looking forward to this. I will be very happy if you post lots of videos during this month to encourage us😂 i’ve never done anything like this before. Thanks for the video!
After a long day I was tempted to stop for fast food. But I remembered I had a bag of fish fillets in the freezer. Popped open a can of corn and I had a quick meal without spending any more money.
We're actually really excited for a no spend January. We did okay this past January but this time we also have a plan. Definetly going to make the cheese bread, yum! 💜🎄✌
Hi Emmi and Paul!! Love the bread-will try it soon! I dont buy that much Joghurt but chream cheese-Recipe for amazing dip! a block chream cheese, black pepper or chili pepper, 3 cloves fresh garlic fine chopped, dried or fresh chives fine chopped, 2 tblsp crushed pineapples or tid bits or fresh , 1 tsp paprica powder (sweet, smoked or sharp) 1 tblsp fine chopped mixed nuts or walnut whatever u have. Add salt to your taste - Mix well form a ball roll in chopped nuts. put in a decorative container or bowl/plate...for little pieces of bread to spread on and serve or on crackers- so delicious the spices and the sweetness of the pineapple. My pantry is stocked with the basics and I will also do the no spend Jan with you guys..I plan a whole lot of soups and meatless meals. I like to get a 5 pack Ramen noodles and spruce them up by adding mushrooms and greens or cut up a hot dog in them. I cook always for 2 or more portions since I am alone and freeze the rest for "Fast food days" I got cale and lettuce growing now in pots on my balcony (apartment, 1st floor) green onions as well Carrots they offer the whole winter in 4 lbs bags for 79cnts-1.29- the whole 4 lbs!! I be eating a lot of carrots-soups, roastd, as salad, in stews etc. or I combine it with other veg like broccoli and peppers. A nice mash potatoe is when you mash potato and carrots together with buter an a little milk...so so good! Looking forward to January with you guys But now..Merry merry Christmas!!
I use a pinch of salt to help pull the liquid from the yoghurt. I love mixing in cumin in the cheese which is delicious on fresh crusty bread. Love the bread recipe. I love the idea of a no spend month. I need a new fridge so the extra savings will boost my goal to get it sooner. For regular bills last year I started an account and I worked out how much I need to cover them for the year. I then deposited the monthly part into the account. I now don't have any worries about having those big bills. I now am building up my incase fund to cover replacing big household items. Your channel has inspired me to remain debit free and it feels great. Cheers to you, Paul and Dixie.
I am here for the no spend Jan. This will be my very first challenge. I'm so excited bcuz this will test my self discipline and consistency. I am only cooking from my pantry n freezer. Let's go ! See you guys in Feb. Thanks for the great ideas.
Emmy, when I make soup, chili, etc. I usually (and my hubby always laughs at me!) make a 12-quart pot of it! Then, I put in freezer containers and throw it in the freezer---I've given soup "baskets" away (soup, crackers or bread, a dessert.....etc.) It's awesome to pull it out of the freezer and it's always awesome! :)(You never know when someone comes to the house--hungry! "Feed and water them"--that's my motto! (That's an Italian for ya!) :) Blessings on you and yours and...your channel! It's awesome, Emmy--we sure appreciate you guys here in Minnesota! :) I always come away from your channel with a "nugget"! Dawn @ Rich & Dawn in MN :)
I don't have a dishwasher which makes it harder to get greasy dishes and pots and pans as clean as I like. So in January I'm going to cook my old standby, slow cooker beans, and other no oil slow cooker recipes. This will save lots of clean up time in the kitchen so I can get to some projects that involve my sowing machine. Have a wonderful New Year.
One idea for using frosting. One jar of pendulum butter and one container of the frosting. Take lids off. Peel off seals and all tin foil. Heat each for one minute in your microwave. Stir together in a glass pan you’ve sprayed with an oil spray and spread out. Delicious Fudge!!
Hi Emmy and Paul. Loved both those recipes. Hubby eats alot of yogurt so I really like that idea - very healthy. Cheese bread looks good to make on a cold, snowy day for an extra special treat. Enjoy your week.
If you need an idea for the orange marmalade, I make a delicious 4 ingredient "sweet & sour" sauce using orange marmalade. I use it on homemade chicken fried rice. Ingredients for the sauce are: Orange marmalade, cayenne pepper, dijon mustard and lemon juice. No measurements. Just add to taste depending on if you like it more sweet or more spicy. It's yummy!
That bread looks so delicious Emmy! I shall make some tomorrow! It looks like we shall be home most of the time here in the UK as the virus is spreading again! We have new restrictions and I feel safer staying in! I have plenty of books I bought at the thrift store and I can try some more of your recipes! Hope you are staying warm and well! Sheila
Oh that opening sunset scenery was beautiful! I am encouraged by your no-spend January! One way to use up plain Greek yogurt is.....doggy ice cream (Dixie, you are welcome!). All you do is combine plain Greek yogurt, bananas and peanut butter (no Xylitol in it--usually found in sugar-free varieties). There are recipes online but I usually take 2-5 oz containers yogurt, 2 soft, medium bananas (you can add other fruits like berries or green beans or carrots if they need used up and you know your dog likes them) and about 1/2 cup peanut butter but you can combine in proportions based on what you have available. Mix together using your KitchenAid or by hand until smooth and well mixed. Place in ice cube trays and freeze until frozen solid. Feed one or two depending on how we big your dog is. I am going to do a good pantry inventory and check out recipe searches online using the ingredients I have to see what I can make. Merry Christmas to you, Paul & Dixie Belle!🎄❤️🙏☃️❄️⛸️🧣🧥🧤
Will be inventorying my cabinets and seeing what we can make. I have not organized my pantry since August and am overdue. We have Netflix and Amazon prime so will look at some new movies and series. I have an unfinished blanket that I am knitting. Also will be going through our closets and drawers to see what's not needed and donate. I also recently joined a volunteer group called Lasagna Love and will be donating a lasagna to a family that needs a meal.
Turning 65 in 2022, I got two offers from Medicare information from free seminars at popular eateries where the feed you and answer questions for two people. They say they will only ask your name & number in party. Eating out on their dime.
You are an inspiration Emmy Yes I’m doing another no spend year I’m looking forward to it Will only buy second hand and make everything myself food clothes crafts etc 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Thank you for being so *realistic*! I think it's easy for diehard frugalistas to just say "do it" but I really appreciate that you're giving us all the hints and cheats to actually make it successful. :)
So motivating as usual! I am going to focus on my knitting hobby to keep me off my phone and tempted to online shop. I have plenty of yarn for a year's worth of projects! I'm making a list of the projects I want to complete first. I'm also going to declutter again in January. That really helped with my no-spend mindset this past year. I started decluttering in January - it felt so good to get rid of stuff we didn't use! The habit continued well into the year! Thank you for sharing! I'm going to try the bread recipe!
Have now made this twice in two days!!! SO GOOD with soup/stew! Had left overs toasted with butter with our eggs for breakfast this morning! I texted the recipe to my three daughters this evening! 😊
A great video! Definitely making the bread. I have some things I have to spend money on in January like my Mother’s 100 birthday so I’ll do no spend February instead. Watching your videos for a long time has gradually given me a different mind set in being more frugal and intentional with my purchases. Thank you. Blessings to you , Paul and your son🎄
When I buy off the Dollar Menu, or use to be Dollar Menu, I will dress up tacos or burgers or whatever from my fridge or pantry. I have left over corn or beans or whatever & have a cheap TV dinner, I add them on the side, there is always room on those dinners to add on.
The opening was so beautiful...Yes, I'm in for the no-spend January. I enjoyed the challenge last year and it's a great way to remind yourself to really pause and consider is it a "necessity" or a "want"? Thank you for the recipe...I'll be making this for my son!
I started my first non-spend year in 2020, I was greatly helped by the pandemic as most of the shops were closed. However It made me realised how much money (and space)I was wasting before in things I thought I absolutely had to have. It has become my way of living, with no efforts at all. I am thrilled at the idea that I play a tiny part in the consumerism ...However there is always room for improvement and I will happily take your help.😊
I broke down in tears .. mixed emotions with this holiday .. overwhelmed. This Christmas song just hit my soul. December turned out as a no spend .. meaning not one thing spent on anything not vital. We told family we cannot do any gifts for Christmas.. what really hurts is we haven’t seen our granddaughter since she was born .. we would of liked to of sent at least one or two little gifts.. it hurts .
Your freezer is so big 😍 #goals 😂 I’m excited for my no spend January, thank you so much for the inspiration! The other day I made a butternut squash and sweet potato mash topped with gluten free fried onions and oh my, I felt like such a chef, it was delicious ☺️
Bread looks great ! Now I just need to buy the hard cheese . I don’t like working with yeast , so this is perfect ! Any no yeast bread recipes will be appreciated ! Love y’all ! Have a blessed day 🌺🌸❤️
It’s a great idea to have a few convenience food items available as they can come in handy when you can’t be bothered w/ cooking and would order take out or go out to eat otherwise. Yes yes yes on using the library. I love the library. It’s amazing how many cool things you can get there. The recipes you made look scrumptious!
I have been doing freezer cooking/meal prep. My freezer is now filled with healthy freezer meals.. I also have been making a weekly meal plan. So ,no guessing or premeal frustration. We are fortunate to have a grocery outlet store in our community. I can buy organic foods, price reduced grass fed or organic meats. I take them home ,prep then, vacuum seal them and put them in the freezer. Yes, prices are up. But, cooking from scratch and a bit of planning, keeps the costs down. I will be making your yogurt cheese and cheese bread!
Cheese bread will be perfect over the holidays-a winner! Love the red Pyrex bowl-beautiful! I did your low-spend with you last Jan.and I saved so much. Looking forward to saving with you again. TY for the intro segment! 🎄🎄😊
Back in the day, January was canned food month which was when I tried to set some money aside for stocking up for the year - after identifying the cans which needed to be eaten in the next few months. I still try to spend as little as possible but for the food and hygine items, I still try to keep my eyes open for killer deals to last through the upcoming year. Not to "save money" but to buy things we will definitely use during the upcoming year. I also keep my eye open for killer clearance on items which will,be gift items through the next 12 months. Yes I begin hristmas shopping and crafting 12 months ahead. Over the past 15 plus years however, I've discovered that the after Christmas and January sales often don't provide killer prices. What January and/ or February become however are my "spring cleaning" time during which I try to go through and wash all of the shelves, cupboards, drawers, etc...This results in organization efforts, re-discovery of what we own, etc...From this comes the pledge and a plan to actually use what we own. January is also the time of finishing up the assorted diy and other projects in both the garage and the craft areas. This completes projects but also uses what was purchased. New projects are allowed using what we own as long as old projects are being worked on. Unless pre-budgeted or planned, no major purchases including for items in work. This often results in some of that gift making for the upcoming 12 months or something for when garden season starts. In the pantry, the emphasis is on reducing its size be it partial containers, condiments and sauces, freezer items, spices, older items, odd items, etc.. Cardboard boxes are my favorite storage solution and organizer and January's plastic storage sales aren't as good as post back to school sales. So between reducing what we own and the prices of plastic storage, we opt for free cardboard boxes. Ultimately, we often spend very little in January and most often February.
I like how you suggested to keep some ready meals in the freezer for emergency or lazy days. Also, the frozen veggies and fruits help to lengthen time in between grocery shopping, saving time and gas.
Count me in for no spend Jan. I have a well stock pantry and freezer and it is just the two of us. I am already starting to cut back our food bill and did not even go to the grocery store last week. I will only go twice a month and shop deals only.
We are going on a Disney cruise in January. However, we paid cash for it while saving for numerous years. We are having a no spend January and February except for the one week away.
Thank you for this great video! You always motivate me to see how far I can stretch my food. I plan to clean my fridge and freezer really well and do a good inventory before the first of the year so we can be as frugal as possible in January.. One of the things you do that has been so helpful is when you have a few random ingredients google ideas to make out of them! Blessings, joy and love to you and your family!! 😍(love the red Pyrex!! 👏👏❤️)
I am going to try my very best to do a no spend January. Especially to cut down on eating, I'm sure I will have eaten too much at my neices over christmas and visiting my Dad in hospital. I will try not to empty my freezer too much before I go. We also need to save incase we can take our flights to see our family in Canada in June next year covid permitting! The cheese bread looks so scrummy it will be on my list when we are out of bread before Christmas, please tell me you scraped your mixing bowl clean when you put it into your loaf tin I watch so many television cooks who leave mix in the bowls when they are demonstrating and think it is so wasteful ! My husband says I almost scrape the pattern from the outside of the bowl when I am baking🤣.
Looking forward to Jan... you always have the best ideas... thanks to you both... I just turned 60 on the 12th and my goal all year was to get debt free, and I have done that.. and I have a lot of savings to go towards my trip that has been on hold since fall last year. Onward we go... 💜
Morning!!! I'm gonna try to join you for a no spend January!! I'm making my shopping list for meal prep for the month . Specifically trying to use up some of my can good s that are going to expire soon
@@FrugalMoneySaver Well, certainly, Emmy! I gotta back my " sista"! :) Besides, if you get discouraged and don't do your videos anymore, well, HOLY CRAP! I would have to stare at a blank wall and have my coffee! :) Blessings from Dawn (Cierelli) @ Dawn & Rich in MN :)
looking forward for my first no spend January always inspired to learn something new from you and Paul. The yogurt turned cheese has been a staple in my home and you can add some cucumber to it really refreshing and tasty. Take care stay blessed 👍
By just L@@KING at that cheesy bread, I literally ate it with my eyes. Sounds like something I want for New Years Eve with some flavored seltzer! ( I know I'm so daring!!) Lol!
I love that you mention keeping a list of things to do that you can pull out and refer to when boredom sets in. I used to do this and need to start doing it again! Thanks for the helpful reminder!
I'm a quilter and every January I make a list of ufo's (unfinished objects) and see how many I can get done. I make a vow not to buy any fabric and use what I have. Lots are from the free table at the quilting clubs. Also no new projects.
I don't usually have yogurt around. When I do it's one container and gets consumed before i get tired of it. The quick cheese bread is a recipe I might try on a cold day when I want to use the oven to help get the house warmer. I agree that it's good to have meals in the freezer that can be either just heated up or cooked quickly for those nights when people don't feel like cooking for whatever reason. Prior to tonight I had a frozen pizza, & 2 main dishes from a batch cook. I did another batch cook tonight and now have an additional 4 meals in the freezer.
Yep……definitely count me in for the no-spend January…….like you, I have very expensive property taxes that must be paid in early January (south shore, Long Island) and that savings is needed big time !🤪
Very grateful for the cheese and bread recipe I recently got some delicious yoghurt which would turn lovely as a soft cheese and my yeast breads just never turn out properly so really happy to have an alternative. We use a lot of bread but the bread we like has already increased in price so this will be perfect for December and January and to freeze a few
The bread looks delicious. I'm anxious to try it. I like to make mac n cheese when I have extra cheese. I love your ideas for things to do so you don't go shopping. I need to get a puzzle started. I'm not sure if I'll be able to join you for the no spend January. I have my first grandchild due in the beginning of January. I may be doing a little spoiling. I'm sure there are things my daughter may need for the baby. I'll definitely not spend on myself though and will limit my grocery budget. Happy New Year my friends.
I have already been looking forward to a no spend January so I am already well stocked in our pantry and freezers. I love the challenge of it and look forward to see just how much we end up saving! Now I just have to make my list of expenditures other than our normal bills such as a few upcoming January birthdays that we will include into our budget for that month. It really helps to have you and others doing the same thing to keep me motivated and on track 😁 Thanks! See you Friday 😊

Same with applesauce.or jams,jelly, preserves.bake with them.

Thank you so much 😊
Y’all have the nicest video intros. Thank you for the beautiful scenery and lovely music. 🙂
Thanks so much
I'm buying any crafting supplies I'll need now and am NOT buying any in January., even if I think I really need it. Wish me luck!
You can do it Christy!
With that white frosting you could make fudge....

Oh goodness Rosemary Dix says your her new best friend! Thank you!
You're just fabulous. Love your enthusiasm. So infectious 🥳🥳
Merry Christmas and thank you Sheryl!
Some great projects Gwen! Thanks!
Turning 65 in 2022, I got two offers from Medicare information from free seminars at popular eateries where the feed you and answer questions for two people. They say they will only ask your name & number in party. Eating out on their dime.
LOL! Love that Victor!
You are an inspiration Emmy
Yes I’m doing another no spend year I’m looking forward to it
Will only buy second hand and make everything myself food clothes crafts etc 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Paula so happy you'll be joining us!
❤️❤️
@Amanda Dye ❤️❤️
Thank you for being so *realistic*! I think it's easy for diehard frugalistas to just say "do it" but I really appreciate that you're giving us all the hints and cheats to actually make it successful. :)
Hope they help! Thank you!
YOur bread looks so good. Hubs will love this with evrything
Okay I'm in....no spend January it is. It's good to have a couple of weeks to prepare for it.
So happy you'll be joining us Wendy!
You have the most beautiful sunrises/sunsets. It looks like your house is up high so you have a great vantage point to see them.
Yes, we are up on the side of a mountain!
What a great idea Sara! I’m going to do that too.
💖 this. I will get back into mine also. Cross stitching and beading. ☺
Sara thanks for encouraging me to declutter as well!
My favorite part of the video was how excited you got having a vintage red Pyrex bowl. I love it. You are such a delight.
Oh thank you! Big hug Dawn!
Have now made this twice in two days!!! SO GOOD with soup/stew! Had left overs toasted with butter with our eggs for breakfast this morning! I texted the recipe to my three daughters this evening! 😊
YAY!! So happy you enjoyed it! Thank you!
You have a great stockpile Emmy! I've been very diligent with trying to have zero food waste! My freezers/pantry is stocked too!
That's great Gabrielle!
Bette a very blessed and happy birthday to your mom!!!
When I buy off the Dollar Menu, or use to be Dollar Menu, I will dress up tacos or burgers or whatever from my fridge or pantry. I have left over corn or beans or whatever & have a cheap TV dinner, I add them on the side, there is always room on those dinners to add on.
Brilliant and delicious!
Make 3 ingredient dough, taste amazing and you use yogurt as one of the ingredients
The opening was so beautiful...Yes, I'm in for the no-spend January. I enjoyed the challenge last year and it's a great way to remind yourself to really pause and consider is it a "necessity" or a "want"? Thank you for the recipe...I'll be making this for my son!
So happy you'll be joining us!!
That is so amazing! Good for you!
I broke down in tears .. mixed emotions with this holiday .. overwhelmed. This Christmas song just hit my soul. December turned out as a no spend .. meaning not one thing spent on anything not vital. We told family we cannot do any gifts for Christmas.. what really hurts is we haven’t seen our granddaughter since she was born .. we would of liked to of sent at least one or two little gifts.. it hurts .
Oh, Diane! This is a hard time of year for you. May you find peace to help your hurting heart. Know I’ll be lifting you in prayer 🙏
Diane I am so so sorry. I pray you find peace! Despite gifts I am sure your family knows how much you love them!
Your freezer is so big 😍 #goals 😂 I’m excited for my no spend January, thank you so much for the inspiration! The other day I made a butternut squash and sweet potato mash topped with gluten free fried onions and oh my, I felt like such a chef, it was delicious ☺️
Sounds delish! 😋
Sounds delicious!!
We don't buy groceries during Jan and use the freezer and pantry for our meals
Finally! Someone else who isn't in love with beans. LOL. I do keep a good supply of all sorts of pasta.
Me too Dora lol! Love pasta!
Love this one! That bread looks amazing too! Y’all have plenty of food to not get more ;) have fun in no spend Jan 🤩
Yes! Very true!!
I'm in on the no-spend January! I really need to do it until this summer! My pantry and freezer is FULL! Time to rotate it out!
YAY! So happy you'll be with us!
I'll do a no spend month in February! I'll be buying presents for Christmas 2022 in January ( all the sales just before inventory!)
Me too!
Bread looks great ! Now I just need to buy the hard cheese . I don’t like working with yeast , so this is perfect ! Any no yeast bread recipes will be appreciated ! Love y’all ! Have a blessed day 🌺🌸❤️
More coming!
Wahw what a delicious looking bread, going to try this!
Hope you enjoy!
This will be my first no spend January! Thanks for challenging us and walking beside us through this journey.
So happy you'll be joining us Jen!
Thank you Gretchen!
That’s always been my very favorite Christmas song/hymn!!!
Isn't it beautiful!
Exactly right! Planning and prepping is the key! Thank you!
Cheese bread will be perfect over the holidays-a winner! Love the red Pyrex bowl-beautiful! I did your low-spend with you last Jan.and I saved so much. Looking forward to saving with you again. TY for the intro segment! 🎄🎄😊
So happy you'll be joining us Deborah!
That all sounds really great Terry! Thanks for sharing!
I like how you suggested to keep some ready meals in the freezer for emergency or lazy days. Also, the frozen veggies and fruits help to lengthen time in between grocery shopping, saving time and gas.
So true Helen!
Count me in for no spend Jan. I have a well stock pantry and freezer and it is just the two of us. I am already starting to cut back our food bill and did not even go to the grocery store last week. I will only go twice a month and shop deals only.
So happy you'll be joining us Beth!
@@FrugalMoneySaver In Jan I think you will need to do regular updates and hold us accountable !!!
We are going on a Disney cruise in January. However, we paid cash for it while saving for numerous years. We are having a no spend January and February except for the one week away.
Oh my gosh I need to hear all about it! You know my Disney passion! Sounds absolutely wonderful!
Doing an inventory. Focusing on making gifts to use with what I have on hand too
Love that Salina!
Clean out or down pantry & freezer
More no Spend Jan videos please!! I'm joining you next month!
Oh yes! They are coming!
Bread and cook- like cheese curds- yum
Yes! Thanks!
You are so welcome! More of those videos to come!
I will definitely be joining you on the no spend January! Great way to start the year. Thank you for your frugal living tips.
You are so welcome! So happy you will be joining us Sheri!
My goodness, that bread looks delicious!
Oh my gosh I am a scraper too! Paul says I take too long to scrape it and people get bored watching me so we don't film it LOL LOL!
I've never done a no spend month, but every January I do the Eat from the Pantry Challenge. I usually manage to save $600.
That's great!!
Looking forward to Jan... you always have the best ideas... thanks to you both... I just turned 60 on the 12th and my goal all year was to get debt free, and I have done that.. and I have a lot of savings to go towards my trip that has been on hold since fall last year. Onward we go... 💜
That is awesome! Happy belated birthday Dawn! Hope it was wonderful!!
Going to do the yogurt cheese. Great idea. The cheese bread looks super.
Can't wait to try both.
Thanks so much for watching!
That bread looked delicious 😋 Hope you, Paul and Dixie have a great weekend 🥰
You too Bex!!
Morning!!! I'm gonna try to join you for a no spend January!! I'm making my shopping list for meal prep for the month . Specifically trying to use up some of my can good s that are going to expire soon
So happy you'll be joining us!
I would use that bowl year round. It's GORGEOUS! :)
Isn't it!! Thank you!
Emmy....when everything "goes everywhere" when you cook??? Means, you're a REAL good cook! :) Dawn @ Rich & Dawn in MN :)
LOL!! You are always such an encouragement and a blessing Dawn! THANK YOU!
I made your cheesy bread, increased the recipe to 1.5 of everything and baked in 9x13 pan, delicious, thank you!😊❤️
OH YAY! So glad you enjoyed it!
How about a food budget for one person?
looking forward for my first no spend January always inspired to learn something new from you and Paul. The yogurt turned cheese has been a staple in my home and you can add some cucumber to it really refreshing and tasty. Take care stay blessed 👍
Oh that sounds so yummy!
By just L@@KING at that cheesy bread, I literally ate it with my eyes. Sounds like something I want for New Years Eve with some flavored seltzer! ( I know I'm so daring!!) Lol!
LOL!! Jan you're the best!
I love that you mention keeping a list of things to do that you can pull out and refer to when boredom sets in. I used to do this and need to start doing it again! Thanks for the helpful reminder!
So glad the video was helpful Allison!
I'm a quilter and every January I make a list of ufo's (unfinished objects) and see how many I can get done. I make a vow not to buy any fabric and use what I have. Lots are from the free table at the quilting clubs. Also no new projects.
Hello from Greece! You can use the yogurt to make tzatziki
Greece! How amazing! Thanks for being here!
@@FrugalMoneySaver I am enjoying your videos since the beginning of your channel!! They are very helpful for me!
I will looking for new bedroom's comfort thinking that all I need to buy hope to fine one by March it;s really need if you seen my comforter, lol
LOL! A new comforter sounds wonderful!
Batch cooking is great!
This is a great video to help us to step forward positively into our no spend/low spend new year 2022...thank you! Sarah
You are so welcome! Thank you!
Yep……definitely count me in for the no-spend January…….like you, I have very expensive property taxes that must be paid in early January (south shore, Long Island) and that savings is needed big time !🤪
YES! The joy of living in NY (sigh)
Congrats on 17K! Your channel in interesting and uplifting.
Thank you so much Jeanne! Means so much to me!
So glad the video was helpful!
Congrats! Oh how wonderful! Enjoy that little blessing!!
The bread looks really good. I'm going to try to make it.
It's really yummy and pretty easy too!
Sounds great! So happy you'll be joining us!
