This series is what an MBA should be, but instead of done over 2 years, it is done over two hours, which you can watch in loop to understand more and more. Fantastic contribution, thank you very much.
But is it possible to design websites for like $2k+ Iam a webflow developer and Ux designer but kind of newbie in freelance world, i have worked with 3 clients in the past but i guess i need to find a market that would pay that mush. whats your opinion on this and is it possible to target them using outbound marketing (outreach) or just create content / ads to attract these clients?
Amazing content Anna, thank you! My suggestion would be a full run through of the whole process using the Client Dashboard and the Web Design Workflow. Putting it all together and running through a mock client (or real one) and explaining step by step how to use these tools, in a slower more detailed process. I'm very greatful for these tools and very happy with my purchases but I think a more detailed run through of exactly how to use them would be very beneficial to get the most out of them. To give more clarity, I don't mean a comprehensive guide on how to use Framer, Notion or Figma, these should each be learnt and mastered by ourselves but just putting the process together. I'm working on building a freelance web development company, preparing to go live and have not yet had any client interaction experience, so for people like me I think this would be very helpful.
I’m all in with the basics you mention given my experience, but the WORKFLOW and modern tools and the “myths” made me feel so much more validated. This day and age you have to work smarter not harder. And in my experience 50% is research/kickoffs and check ins, branding, basic messaging, goals…20% memorizing brand guidelines and first wireframe, and presenting base to clients and fine tune. Then the last 30% is the build and edits/follow-ups/edits/debugging and other odds and ends (but make sure the content includes a limited amount of revisions. Which is why step one is Soooooooo CRUCIAL!!!!
This entire series from start to finish jam packed full of valuable content, I honestly can’t thank you enough for sharing this & not gatekeeping. When I first started freelancing web design 5 years ago this channel would have been a God send 😂! I’m going to start implementing more of your suggestions & elevate my Client Process even more ! Thank you 🙏 🎉
Your explanations are a breath of fresh air. When I first got started with web design business, all information i had access to was so vague. I wondered of those guys did the on purpose. I cant tell you how long it took to decide if I should code a site by hand or use a builder. Kudos to you for being clear and upfront. You'll be helping a lot of people with your confidence and clarity
Holy hell. This is by far the most useful video series, paid or free that I've ever seen in this area. The value you're offering here is actually mind blowing. I'm in the stage you talked about that I'm getting clients but they're for $500-$800 and even that feels high, knowing that you were in this stage not too long ago really gives me a lot of hope and really that empathy alone offers me more value then 99% of the courses I've seen. I'm shook, this series is absolutely jam packed with valuable, actionable information and empathy with your audience. I'm not sure I've seen something like this before.
When you go into a niche, you can do high ticket web design where $10,000 per site is reasonable. That's even low. Still using elementor or framer/ whatever cms. Think bigger, there are people doing more than $10k in niches you wouldn't expect. :)
I am not a web designer but am building my website and being a 3D graphic designer I can tell your step by step + info and advice are gold and are not limited to web design but to design for customers in general from what I know. Very informative and refreshing for me the way you tackle your projects and the timeline without too much overthinking. Thank you for this exposé of good practices!!! It will definitely help me.
This is the content I was looking for. I'm a web designer for me It was more about making the website look pretty and functioning rather than deep diving and really understanding how can I efficiently solve the client's problem. Thank you for this series.
I remember you popped up in my feed a while back Anna, It was Best Website Platform to Learn in 2023. I loved it and came to your channel to find more and there was only one other video. Boy am I glad that I subscribed because YOU HAVE BEEN BUSY!! Thanks so much for your hard work. This is exactly what I need right now.
I'm in awe! You are really good as a narrator/mentor and have been extremely helpful. No water at all, just essentials. The channel is definitely worth subscribing to!
This content is of real value. It 100% stands out from the rest of these web gurus trying to push some product or tease a course. Not a single breath of waffle, straight to the point and helpful. Thanks for the video!
Thank you for the content you provide for free. I have a website designing agency for little over a year and struggling to find clients. I am excited to implement the knowledge you shared here and in other videos and see how it goes.
Wow, what a great video Anna - I have been in this industry for over 10 years (more on the dev side than design) but this was really illuminating. Having recently moved away from a partnership to freelance I will definitely absorb this information into my workflow. Kudos, great to see so much success in younger people these days. Thank you Anna, Gareth
anna would you lunch a Full Course of web design where we can learn from you... I know It's time consuming but it will be helpful for us..to Learn from a skillful guy... ❤❤
Girl - where you have been?!? I just started my development business and didn't have a clue how to get started, and your TH-cam channel is exactly what I needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
Hi I love your channel! I would like to see a seo tutorial on what’s actually relevant for 2024. Also a video on site maintenance, I see that a lot of designers add that as an additional service but no one explains how to do that and what it entails. I would also like to know the process of handing projects off to the clients and setting boundaries on what support you provide after launch. I’m building my first website for a family friend and it’s e-commerce and for some reason they were under the impression I would be constantly updating their inventory lol.
Thanks Anna for being so transparent with the tools and processes you use 🙏🏾 I went ahead and snatched up the bundle you offer. I could immediately see the value when I watched this video. I'm look8ng forward to implementing this process and accelerating growth!
Love ur videos! I would love to see a video specifically about framer and the hand off process to the client. After its built and live, what do you do? How do you handle the paid plans with them? How do you handle maintenance and updates, do they create their own framer account and then you transfer the site to them? I'm not finding a ton of content around this part and would to see how you navigate it. Thanks!!
Hello, paid web designer here. For the amount Anna's clients are paying, they should be getting a website they can use for the indefinite future. Framer does not provide this. Once you are on Framer, there is no off Framer. No switching. No HTML or CSS exporting. Your locked in! Stick to webflow and figma, dont be lazy.
Just discovered your channel and even tho it’s 17 min, I’ve gone through two mechanical pencil leads and have spent well over 1.5 hours taking notes. (So glad that I know MOST of this, but the workflow is DIVINE!!!! Do you have a video about contacts, RFPs and SLAs?
Great Ana. Love the structure. I’m going to purchase it all as soon as I get confirmation of a job I’m hoping to land. I’d love to hear more content on dealing with clients. From first contact to closing a sale.
Wow🙏🏻 you are incredible! Thank you so much for this invaluable content and explanation. You are a master at making this easy to understand and cutting through the crap to share all the useful info. One of the best videos on TH-cam
Great video. I am a starting webdesign/webdevelopment business and I bought the Web Design Workflow. This helps me a lot. The only thing that would help me even more, is to have the Framer templates available in Figma, as I don't use Framer but write the code myself.
this is pretty much similar course like Abi Connick but for Web Desginers. you should increase your prices for your templates. Super brilliant share. Thank you.
Excellent content Anna. I've been designing websites for about 10 years... at least 4 platforms... but my website is laughable and is still mostly holding boxes for pics. All my work is from word of mouth I dread to think how busy I'd be if I advertised 😊
Another GOLD video Anna! I am going to have to grab your template in the future and miss the sale, but I don't mind paying full price as I am definitely not the most organized designer out there, and it seems to make a lot of the earlier, pre-design work, a lot easier for both myself and my future clients. Loved this series! Thanks for all of this!
High five to you Anna! Your content is insightful, actionable, and sprouts ideas for my coding projects. I think it would be helpful to share your experience with how you integrate (process) your clients "feedback" such as: web site changes of any kind, timelines, cost changes, etc.. If enough of your subcribers show interest, it would be a good idea to consider having a live YT session. I'm sure you'll be peppered with many questions that run gamut of how to get quality clients to choosing a host provider. Thank you and good vibes from a newbie who's new to the creative side of web design.
I’ve just stumbled upon you, and my word, what an excellent quality video, thank you. Superb editing, great communicator and wonderful content. The downloads themselves are worth hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars!
If she has one...she doesn't share it. But I thought I heard her say in one of these videos is that she's not interested in trying to find clients through this content but to sell the infrastructure for people looking for this content. That in itself is making her tens of thousands of dollars already...or she said, over 100K so far. I think this is her business. She might do some web design work but that doesn't seem to be her main business. @@nicolaslondon

Solid video, Anna! The video's smooth transition between you and the dashboards you're showcasing is seamless and a treat to watch! If you were to build a website for a service-based client who needs a booking system and CRM, would you still recommend going with Framer? Anything to NOT build any more websites in WordPress....
I'm considering shifting away from web design/development as I've found the networking career path intriguing as well. Nevertheless, I'm giving you a thumbs up because the content of your videos is genuinely helpful and motivating.
Can you add closed captioning? That would help AMAZINGLY and so many video editing platforms do this automatically. Doesn’t have to be perfect but would be soooo helpful.
Absolutely Outstanding and Phenomenal, Gurl you are the BEST!!! For you to take your time to drop so much insane masterful knowledge on us, I mean some of it I would consider to be be trade secret! Bravo and thank you honey, keep making these!!!! ❤️🔥💯
Please create a video about pricing strategy for web design services with a Notion template that we actually can use. In pricing strategy I mean, setup your products, your plans and features, pricing, billing period, different types of services and products (for example you can provide development + design, and you can provide development only), different types of "Deals" and "Special Discounts" for example when working with agencies, when selling as a Bulk. Also, you can have plans for an "Hourly rate" so the client can select a plan of 10/20/30 hours per month. What about if the client requests additional QA, how should I price that based on the project. Also, it would help if you had different plans for website maintenance and support, and how everything is connecting together to a specific quote/offer. How you can track things like Licenses, for example when you resell hosting services, you need to make sure the client's license is expired. I mean, there are a lot of questions that make me do nothing, even if I can design and build websites I can't price my services and this is why I'm blocked right now until I fix this critical issue. I basically need personal mentoring meetings to crack it up, but I can't find any mentor who can help me.
Hi Anna. I just discovered you and have binge-watched all of your videos - thank you SO much for sharing all of this incredible information. I have a question about Creative Business Blueprint Notion board - just wondering if I am missing something in the section where it says "2. Change the number of projects per year to work out your price per project based on your goals" as it sounds like there was some kind of handy formula or something? No worries if not, just wanted to ask! Thanks again :)
Hi Anna, really found this content interesting and quite knowledgeable as an owner of a Web Design Agency By the way, I didn't find the free notion template you mentioned in the video at 8:52 regarding the tools I use page. Can you please provide that one over here! The content is really nice, keep it up!
Can you please make the entire process and checklist for other stacks as well like Dashboard Design, Web App Design. I'm unable to find any complete guide specific for this.
Hi Anna, first off thank you so much for this series, it is amazing! In the video you mentioned that you leave a free notion workbook that would include what you use for design inspiration and stock photos. Could you please let me know where to find this notebook please.
This series is what an MBA should be, but instead of done over 2 years, it is done over two hours, which you can watch in loop to understand more and more.
Fantastic contribution, thank you very much.
Could not agree more. It is crazy nuch how compressed knowledge is in this video. 🎉

Absolutely 100%!! The thinking behind all of this is exceptional!! Inspirational… and aspirational!
You're not making any sense.

Hey Anna!
Super actual content and quality of it for me)
Currently I was fired due to staff reduction. I was working as a UX/UI designer (website, mobile app, web app/SaaS). Basically, I am a web designer, and this is what I do best.
Easy sub, great content and execution.
10/10 content. Thankyou much 8)

Hi Anna, really found this content interesting and quite knowledgeable as an owner of a Web Design Agency
By the way, I didn't find the free notion template you mentioned in the video at 8:52 regarding the tools I use page.
