Karel here hi Paul. When i see a photo like that I am overwhelmed. I don't know where to start with the yellow background. To me an animal or figure is easier. You make it easier. Noe I know to wipe an add. Thank you hope all is well.
You are really made for teaching. I enjoy different ways of painting birches. Would you find it easier to mask off your trees first with any different varieties of mask, like tape or masking fluid, or even masking film? I love using different types of masking and just got some fabric adhesive to try out the next time I mask something. You've inspired me to try a birch painting and layer it up like crazy. I love layering. What I don't know is how many layers can good thick paper take? I feel like the paper stops taking layers after a while. Do you know? Thanks for another great video.
Thanks Kandicookheller, I seldom use masking, mostly because I don’t like the hard edges it leaves, also because it is better to develop your brush work. I only use 140 lb mostly, thank you for watching
@@Easy-Watercolor I understand about the hard edges, but doesn't softening the edges help? I guess I better try not using masking to improve my skills. Thank you.
You are a good teacher Paul; I often watch your videos and learn something everytime. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching Amy
These are beautiful. My favorite trees to paint.❤️
Happy to help Kay, thanks
