Wow, just absolutely gorgeous. Amazing how you did the snow, shadows. Takes me back to winter in Pennsylvania.
You are more than inspiring. We walk in the mountain near our home and often take pics of one particular view but no ever thought to paint it. Thanks.
You're making me hungry for clams! 😊 When you started adding color to the house, I thought "Oh no!" But you were right, it's perfect.
Thank you jas8815, glad you liked it beautiful spot. thanks again for watching
Stunning colour mixing with canvas as palette, especially the house. What suggested starting with yellow and keeping it wet?
yellow keeps the glow, when ever you want a glow warm first then cool, thank you for watching
BEAUTIFUL!!!!❤
AWW thank you jennifer, hope it will help and thank you for watching

Brilliant…I’m learning sooo much! Thanks.
Thanks Theguys, that is so cool, I hope it helps your paintings and thank you for watching
The basic secret must be kept in our mind is the source of the light and the way you've used the card to split the rocks is a perfection ❤❤❤❤
you are right on barbie, good job
Hello there I've just happened to be working on a project with bolders along the seashore ❤❤ and it's coming out quite well
Nice, hope it all helps. Thanks again for watching barbie
How is it that you are going over a yellow with a blue, and it is not looking green?
Hi pallavirane, I think I also used a rose after the yellow which creates a warm orange tone, compliment of orange is blue, so blue over orange gives you a warm gray blue tone. Then if you add more blue it strenghtens the blue tone of the sky color. Hope this helps, thank you so much for watching pallavirane
Thanks Paul, I love the way you teach. I really appreciate you sharing your talent. Thanks again mate, I look forward to trying this one. Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺.
My pleasure Michal, Thanks again for watching, and let me know if I can be of help.
Very interesting method, when forming the clouds secret soft edges is so essential ❤❤❤❤❤ to achieve beautiful effects

@Easy-Watercolor It really has, my father was a watercolour painter/teacher in Bulgaria, he recently passed on so I wanted to learn his craft but obviously he is no longer around to teach. Really enjoying your videos.
@@RussStevo Sorry for your loss Russ, he is smiling at you now. Sending best wishes
@Easy-Watercolor Thanks Paul, already trying out your techniques today. You made it look so easy I'm quite surprised how well the clouds turned out with mine.

Have you ever painted the Jones Creek side of Pearce’s Island? The scenery reminds me of John Constable’s landscapes.
I haven't bob, sounds wonderful. Thanks for watching
Thank you so much for taking the time to pop a little dreaminess into the rather grey and low clouds here in Scotland this morning. I much prefer immersing myself in the clouds of your imagination. I can but hope someday to have the easy relationship you have with watercolour. I just subscribed, having had you pop onto my home page - thank you algorithms! 😊🖌️🎨👩🏻🎨👏🏻🏴
Welcome anita, thank you for join us, I hope I can help with your paintings, especially with these beautiful clouds. Thank you for watching, haven't been to Scotland but I would sure love too someday.
Paul, did you dry the background sky before you put the colbolt blue over it that needs to be told
Hello Anna, No, the key is to drop the colors on each other while wet so that they will mix themselves, thanks for watching Anna
Hi Paul Karel here I never thought of using the splattering technique in so many different ways. I used to use a toothbrush . I've seen people protect parts of painting with paper towel for those not as experience as yourself. I have to go practice now. Bye
Thanks Karel, yes, towel works great, good luck
What sort of paper do you use for this? I tried this but the paper towel doesn't blot up hardly any of the colour, I'm thinking I maybe have the wrong sort of paper? Thanks for the video!
Hello Abigail, just cold press, plenty of water, bounty towels, thank you for watching
@@Easy-Watercolor Thanks so much! Looking forward to trying it more. All the best
This was great! Love that green - so effective in making a wooded hillside. I can hardly wait to try this painting😊
Great, I hope it helps. Thank you for watching peldridge
Really pretty question did you add the sky where in the web?
Hi Kelly, could you ask the question another way? Not sure what you mean?
Looks like a lovely place to walk and capture in a painting. Thanks for sharing your painting process. Very helpful.

Love it, I will be throwing paint this week. Do you have your paper at an angle? Thanks and beautiful as always!

Thank you for sharing. Love it!
Hope it helps your painting Nancy, thank you for watching
Hi Paul thanks for sharing your talent here! I loved the idea of lifting cerulean blue off the paper to make clouds. I found my blue sinks into the paper so fast I cant quite lift it in time so never get a clean white edge. Is it A) my non Windsor paints, B) the paper, or C) that Im painting wet into wet and shouldn't be. Any thoughts, much appreciated. 🙂
Hi Mark, Its so hard to tell why this isn't working without actually seeing it, but your not alone, a few people are ahead of you. I don't use cerulean, but I could, I use cobalt, Winsor or ultra marine. Try wetting your cold press paper first and then adding the color and lifting with a paper towel. Please let me know how you make out. Thank you for watching Mark.
What kind of paper are you using in this video?
Hello nahozhu6800, I think I am using Arches cold press, but you can use any paper and it should work fine. Are you having a problem? Thank you for watching
Did you say your paper towel is wet before starting to wipeout the clouds?
Hi Scootmgoot, no the towel is dry, but wetting it will give you a different effect, thank you for watching
all I can say is BEAUTIFUL!! I love the colors you use and what they do in combination!
Thanks Diane, hope this all helps and thank you for watching
wow, that combo of raw sienna, cobalt blue and rose is OUTSTANDING. Question is the rose a quin rose? . I don't think I've seen a watercolor that is just rose. Also what brands of wc's are these? thank you so much for this video.I've subscribed!!
Hey thanks Diane, I use all Winsor Newton except the Daniel Smith Quinacridone colors Rose,Sienna and Gold and Cobalt Blue Teal which I buy from Blick Thank you so much for watching
Hi Paul, I'm new to your channel, and glad I found you. this is a lovely painting with great depth and wonderful sense of movement. thank you so much
