Supposed to be monitoring traffic while on a night shift but this video is too funny!! Matt is hysterical. Poor Buzza had a dismal game! and the #holesomething count and sound effect on every putt had me in stitches! Pickard played well. That black eye has improved his game. Great video guys. I more or less exclusively watch your golf channel, Mark ... love the great courses, entertaining golf, and hilarious banter! In this video, I almost wet myself laughing every time Buzza missed his putt and the "sighing children" sound bite was played!!!

According to the rules (19-2). You receive 1 stroke penalty for each stroke you make regardless of how many times the ball bounces off the buggy. BUT it all depends on who was driving or picking clubs from the buggy last. For example: If Mark Crossfield parked the buggy in front of Coach Lockey, Matt DON'T get a penalty for hitting the buggy, But if Matt parked the buggy then he receive a penalty but only 2 penalty strokes. One penalty for each stroke that hit the buggy. It all depends on who was using the equipment(in this case Buggy) last. Read under Equipment... Note 3 in the R&A rule book.
I know it's a bit late but after I read the comments. I just wanted to clarify the ruling. The rule book can be downloaded at R&A "About R&A" "Free Downloads" "2016 Rules of Golf A6" Go and download it, using you mobile, then save the .pdf (rulebook) and then you have it. Handy to have when you play in golf comp. or in regular game.There are some pdf readers out there as an App. I have iPhone and I use an app called "PDF Reader" (made by Kdan mobile Software LTD) an excellent App. I use it all the time when there is a "conflict" on the course. :) #RulePolice :D

Under the Definition of "Equipment," equipment includes a golf cart, whether or not motorized. If two or more players share a golf cart, the cart and everything in it are deemed to be the equipment of one of the players sharing the cart. If the cart is being moved by one of the players (or the partner of one of the players) sharing it, the cart and everything in it are deemed to be that player's equipment. Otherwise, the cart and everything in it are deemed to be the equipment of the player sharing the cart whose ball (or whose partner's ball) is involved.
Thus, for example, in a singles match, if A and B are sharing a cart and A's ball in motion is deflected or stopped by the cart, A incurs a penalty of one stroke (Rule 19-2) unless the cart is being driven or pulled by B when the incident occurs. If B is driving or pulling the cart, there is no penalty, and A would have the option of playing his ball as it lies or replaying the stroke (Rule 19-3).

Hi Mark,
I'm feeling like I'm getting somewhere with my swing, but any time I try to step on it and really whack it, I end up hitting the floor early and losing distance. Is this common for recreational golfers?

No way you charge Lockey penalties for the cart. It's all in good fun for you guys, as it is for some of the rest of us, and as it should be for everyone not playing some kind of sanctioned event. If anything you guys should have played a challenge to see who could get closest with their pitch that bounces off the roof of the buggy.
I will be vounting lockets penalties then I beat him on that hole too
Love the vids as usual. Always great entertainment! James to me seems like the better golfer though. A big part of Crossfields game is his mouth. Captain Picard can tune a lot more of Marks shit talking than most of the people that star on these vids.
