Just wanted to let you know how helpful your content is because stuff like that is never mentioned enough in the comment sections! I'm starting to learn DaVinci Resolve now and your videos are really blessing!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This is exactly what I needed to learn today to help a friend create an animated Christmas wish; and I needed to make snow! Perfect timing.
I had a question. I added some default snow particles from the default effects. But the particles stop after 100 frames. Do you know what might be stopping them? Great tutorial, btw! I wish I watched this before using the defaults. But I do like the effect I have going currently (aside from it stopping too quickly)
"Lifespan" of the particles in the inspector is set to 100. And also in the default snow template, "Number" is set to 2500 on the first frame and to 0 at the second frame. This way emitter spawns particles once in the beginning and after 100 frames all of them die. If you want them to continuously spawn, you have to delete the second keyframe of the parameter "Number" that is set to 0.
1:08 the particles aren't on top. They're also a stretched sphere and also off the screen. How can so many things go wrong in such a short amount of time lol... Solution: Make sure the pRender1 node's Image tab in the inspector has the same resolution as the background/mediain image.
Thanks! Lots of useful tips on this one! In particular, the Pre-generate particles feature will come in handy! Many thanks!

Thank you. This helped. I'm trying to create a loop, but I dont know how much to pre-generate to get a smooth loop. What do you suggest?
Thank you homie ^^, I'll use this technique in my next episode :D!
Saved my time and life. Thank you.
Amazing thanks for the tutorial
Great tutorial overall. Thanks. I just needed a bit of help from the discord community to be able to follow along.
Thanks for your video!!! How can I make it look like a blizzard? I want to make it come down faster and more dense… can’t figure it out!
Thank you!
Thx a bunch!
Thanks mate
Hello!
How to make the particles to be static like a star background? I didn`t find any guides on YT.
Thanks
Super 😊
1:01 pRender1 won't connect to Merge1. Make sure to change the pRender node to 2d. The tutorial doesn't show doing that, only verbally says it.
Is it possible to do this in Davinci Resolve for ipad pro?

I think the clip you are coming from (in the edit page) may be 100 frames long...

When I go to line I don't see the start and ending points…
same here :/
