What a delightful adventure. My favorites were the cows and their bells, the stunning flowers and the beautiful mountains. The only thing I’m left wanting is a glimpse of your Mother in laws kitchen. We were able to go to Switzerland about eight years ago and I still remember riding a gondola and hearing the cow bells below us. Thanks for taking us along - it was so relaxing.

Thank you Robin. Brings back sweet memories and a loving smile around my mouth. My father had a holiday apartment in Chateau-d'Oex in Vaud, Switzerland. So we went there quite often. My father passed away a few weeks ago.
I just loved this video and I know it is one I will return to and watch again and again like when I feel stressed and anxious and need calming down or can't sleep. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful place with us. I'm not a great traveller but I've never before seen a place that made me say oh that place is as nice as here.. Ireland... even the flowers could be in our garden and Barney our spaniel thought he could help himself to the raspberries! I do think it is very well kept spick and span as my dear Mum would have said. The cows and goats were so charming and not usually a park person I felt I would like to be there and join in the fun on the swing boats and the round ones that seemed to be swirling and waltzing around in the water. I hope you and Patrick and Paten all enjoyed your time there very much and come home safe. We love you all..... Barney, our big Springer spaniel, William, my lovely kind brother and myself, Vera. ❤❤❤
That was lovely to see, Switzerland is such a beautiful country. I was there on a school ski holiday when I was 15 in a place called Finkenberg, would have loved to have gone back, maybe some day. I have been to Switzerland and it is an incredibly beautiful atmospheric place. We did the trip on the Glazier from Zermatt to St Moritz which was incredible. However is was SO expensive trying to stick to our budget took a bit of the shine off. You are very fortunate that you can stay with family and have more of a “local” experience as being a tourist on a budget can be a bit of a challenge.

My husband & I vacationed in Germany one summer with our daughter who was 12 at the time (she is now 30) - best vacation ever, so I know that entire area is beyond beautiful - how blessed you are to have family there. The part with the cows coming down from the hills was such a treat! How lucky you were to see that. Very accurate, Switzerland 🇨🇭 is one of the cleanest and most beautiful 😍 countries I’ve ever visited and one of the most expensive, but worth it for the care they put into everything. Absolutely love 💗. My one regret was not going to Audrey Hepburn’s home 🏡 and it was quite close. Oh well, maybe if there is a next time 😊
