I want more Alec and clary scenes for season 2. Though I don't really ship them, they seem to have good screen chemistry. Almost friend like or even family(who knows) I ship Malec all the way but in the show clary and Alec kind of look cute together. I feel like in the end alec has come to respect clary and become at least protective of her. Could be me just imagining things but either way, though the show does not follow the books the best, it is still a good show that I plan to see to the end.

Jace is holding the blade as if it is a gun
I imagine the effect they use to make the blade appear behind the scenes would look weird not showing part of his face or something so holding like that might makes sense.
Alec holding Clary close despite him hating her was the most wholesome thing about this scene even though he’s struck and stubborn Alec still cares a lot and has a good heart so not only does he stop Clary from going into the portal after Jace but gently explains that if she went into a portal without knowing where she’s going then she’d be stuck in limbo forever and then the way he sees her crying because she realises that she’s possibly lost Jace forever he himself feels that pain too because he had just lost his parabatai and so he willingly wraps his arms around her and gives her the sorry and comfort that she needs to cry and hugs her close to him because he knows that she’s unstable and he knows that he has to step up and be the bigger person because he knew what Clary meant to Jace and what Jace meant to Clary 😔

Ok when I first watched this idk I was hooked on the relationship Alec and Clary had and when I saw this the way I screamed! I love the way they didn't like each other but somehow both had this moment

I mean they could've walked in with bow and arrow ready and magic sparking, but because Valentines men had Izzy they would've stopped and then some circles members could've held them with a seraph blade to their throat.

The acting in this show is so beyond horrible. To me it is obvious that these actors were cast on their looks alone. Obviously it cannot be easy to portray characters in a supernatural, fictional world, but regardless, these people are hot and talentless.
