For some of us, these types of songs are the most powerful NF songs. These types of NF songs have pulled me out of tough times and dark places. So I can get back to the hype songs and continue on the journey. NF really does it all.

Agreed. One of the most unfortunate things about trauma (at least for me) is the loneliness that accompanies it. It can be difficult to combat utter despair when the void of that loneliness seems to be an endless abyss that threatens to overcome your very being. I’ve found that Nate’s talent & thus, his music offers solace to my heart/mind. It’s the light/hand reaching out to remind me I’m not alone & that the journey of life is not easy but it’s worth it. 💜

I really wished this was on the hope tour as this is one of my favorite songs. I hope he puts it on in the 2024 hope tour.
I took my 11 & 13 year old grandsons to see him in concert last September and this song was so good live! Everyone singing this song in unison was so cool! I think everyone feels this way a lot of times. To me staying in your rut means to just be stuck in life. Not really going down in a spiral but not progressing in life either. There are MILLIONS world wide like this. Just a mundane life.
For me, the most impactful beauty of this song is that Nate isn't "preaching" AT all of us ... he includes himself along with us in the song. He is truly a beautiful soul.
He has a song called i just wanna know where his car goes off the highway and a song called real where he is rapping on a plane that is crashing. I feel like he did some call backs.
Depression is a rut that can be hard to get out of. If you do you worry about if your whole identity would be different.
I would argue your evaluation of NF is exactly what he would want from his listeners. Respect
I'm a huge NF fan and reaction junkie and love how your reactions are deep and you try to understand every bar. As you embark on the journey you will see how much NF has improved as an artist since the beginning and will understand the symbolism across his albums.
My 8 yr old granddaughter asks for this EVERY morning before school... she knows almost all the lyrics and sings along with most of it. It's one of my top favorites from NF as well. "It's the rainy days that give us love for the sun" and "It's the lows in life that make you cherish the highs" are going to be stenciled on her bedroom wall or put on something to hand on her wall.

Nf songs are not just songs for me🙂its always really helping me when i am stressed, depressed or something its a real therapy for me actually no words can explain how i really feel abt nf songs maybe i can say sometimes he saved my life from something ❤️
When i envision this song.. rather than a speech.. i see Nate in middle of the #NFFamily and singing in unison.. this song, he showed us how powerful our family of Outcasts are just together.. hence “millions of US just like you”.. i imagine the entire track known by every single one of us singing with him to the outside world. #NFrealmusic ❤️
NF is dark but with light at the end of the tunnel he’s REAL he’s a movement NF fans are like no other

There's something unique that happens to a child's brain when they lose their parent long before the child is ready. It's not morbid. It's their reality.
This is motivational Nate that he wants to be in future albums. The verse instead of just like me he says just like you. It's like reversing to fans to connect to each other and not just idolize him.

NF is LEGENDARY..
The rut is our trauma, anxiety, depression, whatever it is that takes a hold of you and doesn't let you thrive and soar. We become at home with it because the pain is all weve known and its terrifying to let it go and be without it. This song is hope. This song is a "take a chance and let the light in. You're someone without the burdens. Its ok to leave it." This man writes for his fans 100%. This song saved me. Its simply letting us know, we arent alone.

NF is the best kind of medicine!!
One of the things I notice with the first part is about his life ending, but not by his own hand. I think that's the key and sets the tone for not giving up, let the cards fall where they may, but don't take life into your own hands.
As you will learn when you take the journey, some of NF's best and most impactful songs do not have videos and I believe this is intentional. When there is not a video, then we all play a video in our heads and in some ways they videos are even more personal because we can see ourselves in the situation Nate is describing. We fill in the blanks with our own experiences and that is very powerful as you will see. Although, Nate has improved a lot over the years every song from the very beginning is fire. Can't wait for you to see Intro. It is amazing.

I’ve been through similar things though I didn’t lose my mama to death. But to drugs and mistakes. I don’t blame her. I’m 36 now and she was just a young woman I can understand that. And I connect with NF music big time

Not sure if anyone answered ur question from the beginning of this video about staying in the rut. Mansions is a record that he talks a lot about his mind. Fear is talked about a lot, and then his next album is Therapy. He took a break and is doing a little better and fear talks in one song and says basically how u going to do this album without me I’m the reason that your other album was fire. He was scared cuz he didn’t know if he could live up to the last album if he was in a better place what would he write songs about. That is what I think he meant Kind of like when Someone is in pain yet it’s comfortable pain. You’ve been there so long you don’t know what to do without it. I was so excited to hear that you are going on the this NF journey!! Looking forward to it!! 😉
