By far my favorite NF song, absolutely love it. What you said about victim mentality really really struck me, with what we’ve been seeing in society the last several years, it seems like the victim mentality and oppression narrative has been absolutely off the charts. Of course we have problems in our society, nothing is perfect and some have it worse than others, no doubt. But what we’ve been seeing lately is that it is almost becoming beneficial to become a victim, people are even creating false stories and narratives just so they can be seen as a victim. I feel like this is creating a very very bad future for our society, the “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” mentality is almost disregarded anymore. People need adversity in their life to become better and thrive, we’re attempting to create a utopia that just simply doesn’t exist and feeding younger people with a false sense of reality. Idk that just had me thinking.
Sent this to Nate, I’ll play it with him July 19th, 2023 in Milwaukee! I’ll be going on my first tour after my first concert as an independent artist. I hope that I will be able to record and be able to send what I’ve made to my bud Jack White and get them released on vinyl!

You asked for suggestions.. I tried to go for either lesser known or under-rated artists/songs on the off chance that any of them slip through and bring them to more people. -B. Boy by Tech N9ne. (I know he's well known, but I don't understand how nobody ever suggests this song, Tech's verse is ridiculous..) -Rise by flobots (has nothing to do with the next suggestion. But it's got a positive message and is a good example of what Flobots is about.) -Still I Rise by Young Wicked, Rittz, and Jamie Madrox. (Madrox kills it in this one.) -Mind Goes Mad by Twiztid (Since they've started their own label, they've gone ti a whole new level.)
And to think we weren't gonna hear any of these songs if it wasn't for the mixtape which I believe he wasn't planning on making until after he put out Chasing, another song/demo he wasn't planning on releasing... I could be wrong with Chasing being the key but that's what I got from the 1st verse in Clouds.
