Isn't that the idea of a simulator lol? Jk it is weird, sometimes even with sim games you think 'no fucking way this is gonna work' before you try something. Lo and behold it works. Always been into planes and helis and only recently learned about rotor wash and why the fuck I kept binning helis in sims.
The other tricky part is keeping that front of from tucking ... I find you need to pull right stick towards the bottom corners at a 45 degree angle. This moves the rider back making the front end lighter... This take a while to also figure out... Hell I can only get it right about 60% of the time... But when you do, you can RAIL the turns like the big boys in this game ...
Welp! Idk what it is about this video, I’ve watched tons of pros in the last week or so, but this is the one where it all clicked. I’m good at the game now. In an instant. I can focus on the actual riding Positioning yourself on the bike with the right stick is absolutely everything. You can lean the bike way over to take these turns at speed!
Great info, its an odd feeling tossing the sticks opposite each other .. But its all about putting weight to the outside peg. The other tricky thing is figuring out when to sit vs stand in the corner. Sitting and tossing that leg up makes a difference.
Would you be able to do a more advanced tutorial? Is like more in depth about leaning and turning on youth tracks like lommel. That's really where I struggle. Also more in depth with using the sticks on SX
@@TKOSMOKEY awesome dude I'm looking forward to it! That's really where I'm struggling right now, that and sx standing and sitting. Like body positioning, throttle control, that crap. I tend to go nose high or thrown over the bars. But the more I've been playing, it's been happening less
@@Aretumis yeah the more you play the better you’ll get. You’ll start figuring out when you should seat bounce vs standing. It will get easier soon enough 🤘
TKO SMOKEY sweet, I’ll look some up rn. I’m mostly using 250s to learn the basics. Currently at 29 direct lean and messing with the press, release and stuff now
Im not sure if its just me or what but it seems like i barely go to turn the bike and my bike and rider just tip over. I have all of your settings just not sure what im doing wrong
Me too bro I can’t figure it out, I’ve tried all the settings and have over 27 hours in the game and I haven’t got any better. I don’t know how they do it
Try sitting down. Bind the sit button to something easy to hold down and ride around the track like that for awhile. This will help you get the feel of how far you need to push the stick to turn and the game is way more forgiving and the rider more stable when you are sitting. Once you can get around the track like that for awhile, then try to incorporate leaning without sitting, although sitting will still be needed through tougher corners

"It's just like real life!"
It didn't take me 1000 hours to learn to ride a dirtbike IRL 😂
Hahaha 🤣
riding a bike in reallife is so much easier lmao
@@falconloverxxx7182 for me as a beginner irl. riding a bike is easier irl but riding fast is harder.
It's crazy how much real life technique works in this game.
it's amazing!

you can put like a overlay of your controller to make it easier to see what you do with it, but nonetheless great vid! been learning alot from you
I’ll be using a overlay on my stream today. Starts in 45 minutes!
Try higher bitrate and if your pc drops frames because of that then lower resolution to 720p but upload to TH-cam at 1080p anyway
thanks dude, now i kinda take corners more easy lol
Perfect lol
My default lean controls went the opposite way as you (right stick). I’m supposed to change this?

Dude thanks a ton, the leaning opposite of the way youre turning feels ive unlocked a cheat code lol Havnt heard anyone else mention that
glad i could help
Great video my man 🤙💯
🤘🤘🤘
how do u make it so your character takes his leg out?
its part of the animation when you go from standing to sitting in a corner.

Yeah I put that on the video to do list my friend!

In almost 40+ hours this week I have yet to figure out when to counter lean and when to lean into the corner..
bro this worked so well!!!
i just applied the one stick steer and lean method and been getting used to it. should i scrap it now before i put too much time into it?
I think you have more control of the bike when you use two sticks.
TKO SMOKEY sounds good man thanks. I keep washing out in corners, I’m guessing using two sticks may fix that?
@@Gi11ie it will help a ton, also a good suspension setup.

How do front and back lean affect the cornering? Thank you
When you lean up on the bike you can corner tighter
@@TKOSMOKEY thank you sir, yes I see lynds leaning back sometimes so it trips me out lol
Try putting the mic a bit farther away then people won't hear your saliva
on that step up how do you pull the front end up like that?
Put your lean joystick forward
