I wouldn't mind the fuel tank size really, a 5ltr with 42-45kmpl is equivalent of a 12ltr 15-20kmpl. Other than that, for a general college going kid who skips classes for small touring on Activa, this is a great upgrade.
No it is not that practical as we think, they say it's 5 ltr but for fuel pump you need to have atleast 1.5 ltr in your tank... That's means the actual tank capacity becomes 3.5 , according to my experience with grazia bs6 I have to fill it every 120 kms so for aerox it might be 90 - 100 kms for next fillup

Hi guys. Anyways, as one person put it perfectly and I'd quote Phil collen from Def Leppard, " it's not about which guitar you use and which Amp you use. It is the intention that matters". He also wrote a fantastic line in his book " I've changed every luxury car out there and splurged money. Then I've realized it is not about the car, rather its about the memories associated and I've been using my BMW x3 for more than 12 years". This is true. I've done long tours on my 2013 Honda aviator (60k kms already) than fancy bikes. It is 8hp at peak power. Maximum 80kmph but that's just asking too much and it gobbles petrol. Sweetspot is 60kmph. I've driven on horrible roads in my state telangana, went to karnataka etc. Just last month rode 515kms in a day (spiritual trip to kaleshwaram, 272 kms from Hyderabad) and back home safe. Wonderful memories. That's all it matters.
Touring on a scooter is absolutely possible. I know a guy who regularly (& religiously the guy was an ascetic). Almost a decade ago I was at a friend/relative's place for a function and one of his cousin's came. That guy was starting his almost yearly tour of India in a TVS Wego IIRC. He was featured at least in Kerala news when he reached at the venue of a yaga at Bhadrachalam, AP on his way back from Himalayas. This was in 2012.
I owned ntorq for 2 years. I just rented and rode Aerox for 2 days. I would say ntorq is just barely better than any other scooter in the segment. But Aerox is just next level when it comes to perforrmance. You feel the difference in pull and the increased comfort of bigger wheels. It feels like riding a bike rather than scooter. Also, the engine is silky smooth. No scratching type starting sound of scooter. Vibration is also non existant. It feels like an electric scooter. Ordinary scooters seems like crying for power with their tiny engines but Aerox feels like the perfect optimal level of power a scooter must have to not cry. Practiciality maybe better with ntorq, but everything else Aerox is best. I loved riding it. Only thing I missed is the lack of hand-brake on Aerox and also lack of "lower dipped" headlight switch. I also missed the ability to keep foot properly
I m the owner of of aerox 155.. the back suspension is hard and with road undulations you will feel it.. i changed it to the genuine gas filled suspension and the ride quality improved miles ahead.. now it is superb.. i wondered why yamaha has not launched the aerox with that gas filled suspension as standard..

Finally, the review we been waiting for. I would say this is a near sweet tourer scooter. What I need is better fuel capacity, suspension setup, and duel channel ABS. The braking is a weak point of this Scooter, and for highways I rather wait (and pray) for an upgrade. Also, request Powerdrift team to review the suspension upgrade option of Aerox, especially for touring need, and if it's worth a 17k upgrade.

Do yamaha xmax 300 2022 v2 pls
It is obvious this scooter won't sell in decent numbers. It would stand as an option for the few takers at the Yamaha stables. XSR155 was a big expectation here & they felt it won't do good in sales & did not bring it. But then they brought Aerox thinking it wud sell... funny...!
