i think at the end of the day both partners need to approach relationship the same way. There are two types of approaches. 1. Partner focused - this is when partners think for the other first. "Will this upset my partner", "what can i do to make my partner happy". 2. Autonomy focused - this is when partners look to exists together in a romantic relationship all while not losing their autonomy. So its basically you do you, i do me, but we come together and accept whatever it is that you are and not try and change the other. Both approaches are amoral. There is no right or wrong IMO, but when partners fall into separate categories that's when problems start.

In those cases, partners might be concerned about attracting the wrong kind of attention or sending the wrong signals, like flirting. It’s all about mutual respect, you know? It’s like saying, “I’m not trying to draw attention like a peacock since I’m already taken!” Definitely have to align the perspective. It's best to have common perspective. Otherwise, one will keep thinking how come you insecured by wearing revealing, the other think that how come you so insecured by not revealing (errr. Okay... Not sure if most partners would think that way). But anyway, it's really about alignment in value.
